Applejacks in Stirling

One of the most distressing meals out in a long time. Thought we'd change it up from our normal vegan restaurant and come here. I ordered a vegan burger, but after one bite it was obviously real chicken. It was taken back to the pass and the embarrassed looking guy switched it immediately for a veggie burger (not what I ordered). I ate it anyway feeling sick to my stomach. I spoke to the guy at the pass during the meal and he said it definitely wasn't meat as the vegan burger looked different, though he described the meat burger I had when he explained the differences. The chef even came out and swore 100% that she had made it and it was vegan.Before we paid I ordered the same vegan burger to go, I was curious to see what they would send out and wanted reassurance I was right. The vegan chicken burger was obviously vegan and looked completely different from the real chicken they had put in front of me.I went back in to talk to the staff, but they were pretty uninterested. Eventually I spoke to the manager who listened and understood - all I wanted was to find out how they would prevent this from happening again to someone else. I gave them my email address so they could update me on any changes, and suggested some ways how other restaurants mark their food to avoid confusion. She refunded me my 2 burgers, but the entire meal was a really upsetting experience. The mistake was one thing, but having to fight to get any sort of apology made it so much worse.2 months later and I haven't heard a thing. If you have any dietary requirements or food allergies, eat there at your peril.

Despite being understaffed, we were taken care of extremely well and the food was excellent! Great portions and price. (My wife wanted to make sure that it is noted that the bathrooms were very nice!)

Service was amazing, second to none. The Legandary burgers are ok, but nothing extraordinary (chips are not included). Kids chicken stripes are fully processed typical fastfood restaurant like quality. Couldn't identify the origin of the meat. Skinny fries were nice and crunchy. Pizza, dough was ok, tomato sauce nice. Overall nice place, kind of like expensive version of weatherspoon. Unfortunately as a tourist in Stirling, next time I'll try different place. I don't think I'll come back.

Absolute shambles! Simple order of two burgers and two fries to takeaway. Managed to only give us one fries and make the wrong burger. When they did eventually get the order right the salad looked like it should have gone in the bin about a week ago. Check your order before leaving!!

Staff is nice , friendly and quick...but the food is pretty bad. The cheese nachos are smothered in some tomato sauce, no guacamole in sight and my vegetarian burger tasted like plastic and again far to much strange sauce...very expensive and not worth it. Will not be back!

Service is always amazing here when you get in, but goes downhill quite quickly after mains come out. Been here a few times and service was great but by the end of the meal staff are not too interested, just something for them to maybe work on.Food was amazing though, always is! 😋

Food is awesome, drinks are awesome. Staff are efficient and straight to the point. The front of the house and back of house staff do a great job every time I'm there. Great work!

Food here was okay at best. Halloumi starter was lovely. But the burgers were cold, chewy and burnt with soggy buns, milkshake just a pint of milk, loaded pizza fries were wet and tasteless. It was also dark and cold in there. Confused as to how it gets good reviews tbh? Wouldn’t recommend… server was nice which was the only saving grace

Better than most burgers in America 😁My wife and I are from Texas and this restaurant was an absolute delight! We loved the burgers and drinks here. The Staff were so kind and awesome.

Lovely polite servers.Decent scran.Lots of investment spent on making the place look good.Generally clean.Well received on arrival.My Nachos could have been hotter, they were not much more than warm but not an issue.All the staff are well drilled as service was smooth.I wasn’t happy with the drinks. Both the draught drinks were poor. Irn Bru was not good. At £3.25 each it was poor value. But that’s down to management and not the staff on the night.Will return for sure.Thanks.
