Very sweet and real cafe. Great variety on snacks, warm meals and big on sweets.

Came across this establishment by chance, travelling home to Yorkshire from Fort William, we had breakfast and also ordered sandwiches and cake for when we arrived home, an absolutely gastronomic delight, worthy of a Michelin star.

Lovely bowl of spicey parsnip soup and soda bread washed down with a - difficult to choose from the fab wide selection - cake and coffee. Welcoming service team. It's a regular drop in spot for us.

Food was delicious wide range of choice. Had to resist cakes but looked lovely. Staff and I assume management were very pleasant and helpful. Definitely recommend it 👌

Staff were friendly and helpful, but there was no real vegan options. However they did talk to the chef and I had something to eat. Vegan food is something I feel they have not considered on their menu but at least they tried.

A special later evening event with other shops open in the village. Sharing platter and mocktails were absolutely fabulous! Great service and lovely to see the cafe buzzing.

Visited this lovely cafe by chance. The cakes are amazing. I had probably the best apple pie on my lifetime. Thank you!

My wife had been to Buttercup Cafe before and enjoyed it's food and locale. It was warm and sunny when we visited for late lunch. There was a smallish queue but the staff were pretty adept at keeping it moving. We elected to sit outside in a little courtyardwhich leads onto a couple of really smart little shops. The staff of Buttercup were engaging, and, despite a few menu options dropping off due to demand, there was still a good range of food to choose from. My soup and panini were both piping hot, well presented and really tasty. The coffee and cake fabby too. The price was absolutely fine for the quality served up. I would travel back to Doune just to eat there.

Had a great (beef) burger, but main emphasis seems to be veggie. Shame they aren't licenced - a beer would have been nice. Friendly and attentive staff.

Delicious wee cafe serving drinks, cakes, tray bakes and light lunches. We had 4 sandwich meals with chips, soft drinks and then cakes & hot drinks to takeaway costing £61 altogether. The food was amazing, fresh and packed full. Would highly recommend in current climate with all the social distancing and cleaning protocols observed. And can't forget all the staff who where lovely and attentive. Will be back. 😁👍
