Ciao in Stirling

A great wee Italian cafe on the main street through Bridge of Allan, very popular with locals and visitors, and also with the cycling fraternity. Great food, ranging from hearty minestrone soup, all kinds of pizzas and a wide range of pastas, to a great choice of coffees, pastries and the cafe's own home made gelato ice cream. Often busy and not a lot of sitting-in space, but that's a sign of its popularity. Fair prices and great quality food. Today I had soup and took away several pasta dishes for my freezer. Also a load of delicious canoli pastries. I certainly recommend Ciao.

Stopped in for a late lunch takeaway, came out with some tasty bruschetta, a bottomless Caesar salad and some Tuscan fennel sausage to make some pasta at home tomorrow. Lovely little spot with tasty and authentic food at reasonable prices, great value

Great coffees, excellent range of food ( best bacon roll in town), great service and fair prices. Worth a visit.

Stopped en route to Glasgow. What a find!Delicious sit in or takeaway Italian ciabattas, Pizzas and bakery items. Great coffees which account for busy trade... and noticed National l coffee shop next door empty.

First time here today and I had a half slice of pepperoni pizza which was honestly fantastic. I ordered a chicken salad for my husband bit unfortunately it has a spider in it. Understand these things happen but would obviously hope all salad is washed before being made.

Best real italian pizza in Stirling area, specifically in Bridge of Allan. You will have no regrets, and not only about the pizzas, their ice-creams are the best, plus other desserts like the brownies. Its a must if you are in the area.

Long overdue review of Ciao. So friendly and truly Italian - run by a Italian Scottish family who are passionate about their business. The food is delicious. And not pricey. This is probably the most authentic piece of Italy in the Stirling area. Once you’ve tasted what a pizza should really taste like, you’ll not go anywhere else. They have delicious naturally gluten free brownies (white chocolate & pistachio; choc & orange) alongside the others; amazing homemade Italian bakery items, and genuine Italian gelato - a wonderful alternative to ice cream. Most of it is naturally gluten free, and it is in great flavours like Nutella, Tiramisu (not gf), as well as vanilla, and strawberry (which can be made into dairy or coconut milkshakes. Yum).They are so friendly towards their customers. It’s a pleasure, always, to visit this place.Great for take out. And some bar chairs at a long high table by the window, to sit on during the day for a tasty coffee, or a home made Italian lunch of salad, meats, pasta, pizza slices warmed up etc.

This is the best pizza I've ever had in the UK. The sweets are delicious too. The pizza is like I was in italy. the dough has no acidity at all, it's incredible. congratulations to chef, perfect!

Fantastic little Italian Bistro come Deli run by local family. Serving delicious Italian: coffee, patisserie, ciabatta, salads, deserts, pizza, gelato....Whether you sit-in or take away, you won't be disappointed.

Had coffee and pastries for breakfast here and was very pleased. My brother said the custard bombolone was the best pastry he's ever had. Pictured are the mini danishes I had. Definitely worth the stop if you're looking for a quick bite before heading out for aome sightseeing as we did.
