Conway's Bar and Grill in Stirling

A friend and I went down for lunch today, we both chose the chicken and bacon ciabatta and was amazing and the best we have tasted. The presentation was lovely. The portion sizes were perfect. Would highly recommend anyone to attend if they have never been. Lovely staff, friendly and helpful. We were served by a lovely lad called jack who was working within the kitchen. We will definitely be back. Not to mention the big soft play area which kept my daughter entertained while I had a hot lunch for once

Was here during week with the 4 kids . Had a table in the soft play area. Young girl who was serving was lovely and helpful that’s the only positiveFirstly 4.50 per head for the children to play is ridiculous considering the price of the food and no mention of this charge before you pay at the end?? Would have took them to actual soft play if I had know thisSoft play smells like urine and the toilets Smelled too. My daughter who has asd and is very particular couldn’t even bring her self to use it!Into the food I ordered a light snack as wasn’t particularly hungry . The kids chicken nuggets were like rocks one daughter never even touched hers the fries were the saving grace here!3.70. For. A jug of watered down diluting that the kids couldn’t taste was. Awful place. Gluten free menu looked good but they had no buns available (problem with that morning’s delivery, apparently). I was charged over £11 for a burger patty, a teaspoon of pulled pork, and a slice of processed cheese. This didn’t come with any sides other than the “salad” (a bowl of undressed raw white onion, 1.5 tomatoes, and lettuce).Service was slow but friendly. Plates were covered in greasy fingerprints. Soft play was unavailable.I’d avoid this place if there is even a single other option open within 20 miles.

Absolute shocking steak pie full of salt steak was cold and wasn't even cooked properly another order of mix grill wasn't even asked how i wanted the steak cooked my order of garlic bread for starters was served at the main course after we had to ask for it wont be back any time soon. We were told it would be busy any thing but place had plenty of empty tables. If any body is going out for a meal avoid this place

Appears to be striving for great service and quality. Having visited several times whilst visiting Stirling clearly it is getting there. Still an issue as this trip we ate on a 3 nights, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Each night different items were not available from the menu. Definitely one area to work on.

Food was dreadful, got a steak burger costing 13 quid and it was tiny, fried egg had burnt gristle from the grill on it, steak pie was absolutely burnt to a crisp, and ironically the sizzling fajitas were not sizzling, just warm. I could hold the dish in my hand (no need for a wooden board then) and when complained the same dish was clearly reheated in the microwave. Absolutely dreadful meal and will not be back. Its a shame as there is a soft play, but even that is charged for at £4.50 a head. 20% discount for the issues experienced is an insult. This unfortunately is not a one off experience. We give the place a chance every few months for gatherings with the children but this is the very last.

Overall great experience, the food was great, the service was outstanding and we had a great time, the Tomahawk stake was very good, highly recommended

Springkerse has NEVER let us down. They are amazing and the waiter we got was nice. Food was amazing, I had fish and chips and my Mum had one of the lovely vegetarian options. Lovely, would recommend.

My brother, my Gran, my niece and I all went here for lunch, my brother picked it because it had a large soft play area that my niece could play in, he hadn't realised that you had to book a table in the play area but the staff were lovely about it, letting us sit at a table while they had a small gap in bookings so that my niece could play.The staff were lovely and friendly, so attentive and they honestly seemed like they loved their jobs. They served us drinks and our starter in the soft play area then helped us move through to our proper table when the time came, we had a absolutely lovely camembert wheel with toast and chutney to share as well as the sweet potato, chickenpea and red pepper koftas to share and both were lovely. The mains were lovely as well, Gran had a chargrilled duck salad which she said was very nice, my brother had the steak and ribs which he thoroughly enjoyed, and the ribs were really good as well, nice and tender, sizeable amounts of meat on there! I had the steak sandwich which was lovely, the steak was melt in the mouth, no grizzle, and tasted really nice.We were served mainly by Linda and she was absolutely lovely, very enthusiastic and attentive, great with my niece and was really nice to Gran, offering her a takeaway box for the salad she couldn't finish and really quick at getting us anything we needed. A young man also served us a time or two and was nice as was the young blonde lass that was in the kids area, all in all a really nice experience and we would be really happy to visit again.

Fantastic pub and grill venue next to a Holiday Inn on the outskirts of Stirling with a stunning backdrop.The food is definitely a few notches above standard pub grub and there is a good variety of options. The staff are all incredibly polite and friendly and more than happy to customise dishes to suit needs.
