Still love this place after all these years! Food is just what you expect, lovely freshly cooked food, generous portions and lots of options. One of the best Italians in the area! Highly recommend the pizzas and gnocchi! X

Lovely cafe serving good food. We really enjoyed our breakfast and would happily return. Very friendly atmosphere too.

My son has allergies, which can be a nightmare when eating out. The staff are always attentive, understanding and accommodating. Thanks for another lovely meal.

Hadn't been for a while. First time ever tried carbonara here 20 years ago and still awesome. Son stated pizza 'amazing' and believe me he has had a few. Sons girlfriend loved lasagne. Great food. Service and lovely staff. Won't wait as long to go back. Keep up the good work . Photo of meal Lasagne

Where do I begin… out for a chilled adventurous walk up the Wallace monument, taking all of it in and paying my respects, which took a lot out of me. After my walk I found a small cafe, and i decided to go in. All I wanted was a nice meal and to try process my experience up the Wallace monument… I wanted to enjoy my own company and not be disturbed. However, little did I know they all sang happy birthday to 3 different people… do they never think of where they’re customers come from? After a tragic and shocking piece of history just a few minutes away from the cafe and they’re playing happy birthday music - Unforgivable. As for the staff - unprofessional, instead of taking my order they were occupied on someone’s birthday cake who had already had their meal.. so in this cafe there seems to be a lack of attention to some particular customers. I think there’s also a lack of thought which is really poor. So I couldn’t stand being in there any longer and i just left..You don’t go to a restaurant just for food, you go for atmosphere, well the atmosphere in that cafe has to change ASAP - instead of being happy, shouldn’t we honour those who fought for the country. Unfortunately it gets overlooked and people are more interested in cake and celebrations. I would be willing to give this cafe 1 more chance.. but if it doesn’t there will be consequences… BIG CONSEQUENCES..

Really good wee find just under the Wallace Monument! Parking can be a bit tricky but we have always managed. The food is really good and the price is fair too. Has toilets for the customers. May be a little awkward with a pushchair or wheelchair but the staff are amazing and would help out as best they can.Plus nice wee play park 1 minute along the road to work off some of the pudding 🤣

We were very happy with the way we were treated in this restaurant. The ladies were all super nice, the food was really good (especially the pasta, it reminded me of home) and overall the price was quite good!Well deserved tip, especially because we saw that everyone was working so much.I hope one day I can return :)

Looks like a cafe but presents its true self, as an Italian restaurant, through its menu. My 10 inch open cal zone pizza was very tasty. My wife had a 7 inch Parma ham pizza so she could enjoy a dessert. Beer was pricey but you expect that most places. Staff were friendly. Expect a food delay as it is cooked fresh to order. Would go again if here.

A charming restaurant with a retro design, very pleasant atmosphere, excellent service. The dishes we ate were all Italian style, very tasty and big. In one corner there is even a coin-operated music machine. The menu is basically Italian but not only, they have excellent ice cream. The prices are favorable.
