Cromlix in Stirling

Delightful afternoon tea in lovely surroundings, with great ambience. The staff were attentive, without being intrusive, and friendly from the moment we arrived. We definitely intend a return visit, maybe for lunch next time 😉.

Staff can't do enough to make you feel welcome. First class stay from start to finish. Stayed in a delightful suite and the food is fabulous.

My daughter and I came for afternoon tea on Friday 20th May 2022. We had been before about 3 years ago and then comparison to then which was amazing till now was not a good experience and I would not recommend Cromlix to my friends.

Staff could not be more lovely. Hotel is comfortable and traditional victorian style. Even garden games if the weather permits. Food was also great.

Venue was 5*, food was excellent and again 5*, but the service was poor. Our waiter was over familiar, tried to be a comedian, spoke in very vernacular terms, wholly inappropriate to the venue, and generally brought the tone of the venue down to a working man's club. By focusing on being the jokey 'wide boy', he even got a simple coffee and tea order wrong.

A group of 12 had a lovely dining experience in the garden room which had been postponed from 2020 due to the pandemic. The staff were fabulous throughout that time and looked after us so well today.

Had a lovely lunch at the Cromlix yesterday. Staff couldn’t have been nicer and food was excellent. I’d booked a few months ago before the Mother’s Day set menu had been published; we didn’t think we could get through a 3-course lunch but the staff were so flexible allowing us to pick and choose from the set menu. Only shame was that we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy some drinks in the sun on the lawn! Will definitely be back. Shout out to the maitre d’; he couldn’t do enough for us .

Absolutely fantastic. The care and attention of staff as well as the quality of products for afternoon tea, was just special. This place is a gem of a place for a special occasion.

Lovely secluded location away from the noise of the city. Despite being the only ones in the dining room for lunch service could not have been warmer. Excellent menu. We certainly didn't need dinner that evening

We went for afternoon tea .Which was absolutely beautiful , great atmosphere and staff were very helpful and friendly..We were served by a lovely chap who had a hand issue and my husband had the same issue so he helped him organise a brace for his hand which we have ordered and came today so many thanks young lad for your help !!Not only that there was a small quaint wee church , where we lit a candle and said a prayer for our new grandson who was born and in the intensive care and the next day all looked better for him !!Such a special place !Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back ..Thanks to all who made our anniversary so special ..
