Darnley Coffee House in Stirling

Hearty soup! Great ambience!Go there for sure! I had their tomato and basil soup with nut bread. I loved it. It was the perfect food I needed in the drizzling weather.I’d suggest you visit it for sure, have a nice coffee or soup or whatever you like!

What a fabulous little find! Yummy food, fast service, reasonably priced, great location if you are visiting to see the castle for a day, and they’re dog friendly. Everything we ordered was delicious.

Darnley’s is a wonderful little cafe. We ordered split pea and pepper soup with seeded bread. I got the Brie, bacon and chutney toastie (panini) and hubby got smoked salmon sandwich. The food was excellent! I also ordered a pot of herbal tea as they have several good flavors to choose from.

Lovely place to eat and friendly staff. Very Dog Friendly so much so he had a doggy biscuit AND Bacon!The soup had amazing praise from our group . After a long walk around Stirling Castle, come down to the bottom of the hill to this haven , thanks guys

Very traditional cafe, nice feeling one can enjoy in a vintage building. However, they only serve filter coffee and one other type of coffee, no late or Americano or cappuccino. However, I would recommend this place as the coffee was nice and staff were helpful.

We had a nice lunch here with toasties, soup and homemade cordials. Really love the place and staff as well. Definitely recommend after your visit to Stirling castle.

Arrived with my partner for coffee and a quick bite to eat before touring Stirling Castle. Great value for money and the food was excellent. The staff were very good too. Lovely wee place with a low vaulted ceiling, in keeping with the local area. Popular with locals and tourists, and pet friendly. While we were with a couple were in with their dog, and the staff supplied treats and a bowl of water for the dog. They also have vegan and gluten free options.

Today's lunch visit at Darnley Coffee House was fantastic. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in and promptly got our dog a bowl with water and some treats. Big spacious tables and very short wait for food are a great bonus. The food was very good, I loved the soup, and staff were lovely. With right prices and within walking distance from Stirling castle, this place is certainly recommended!
