Golden Crown in Stirling

I love the Golden Crown I've been coming here since 1981.Consistantly great. I travel from Braco, North of Dunblane once a week for their food.

Just purchased a £12 munchie box. Absolutely disgraceful. I would not recommend. Dry overcooked food. Shocking

Good Chinese especially the restaurant part but the take away is a let down. The portion sizes are poor and they charged us £4 for a small tub of salad which had rotting lettuce in it.

Good food tasty and reasonably priced.... my kids love the duck rice and even did a take away of the same for the next day

Awesome Chinese my go to place after a long day's work has stated me many of times great staff too so friendly.

Went here for lunch, very good food. 2 course for 7.50 or 3 course for 8.50 all courses were delicious. Great service and staff. Food is always fresh and hot. Best Chinese sit in for lunch by far!! And dinner of course. I’m sure it’s closed on a Monday tho.

I’ve had the good, bad and the ugly.This was dire.Ordered Beef satay/fried rice.The beef was rubbery/stringy(for what there was of it)There were a few bits of green pepper with a slither of onion peel.Mushrooms, there were more of.The sauce was erm, a sauce ......Of some description.The rice was very dry.The portions embarrassing.tut tut!!

Just had the worst takeaway from Golden Crown, rice was not fresh and had been reheated, beef was tough and curry sauce had gritty taste as if not cooked through properly. The chicken and sweet corn soup was good although a tad salty for me. Very disappointed as I've been going to Golden Crown since the early 70's. Lots for the bin tonight!

Honestly there are so many Chinese restaurants in Stirling and they are all pretty good. The Golden Crown has a very nice restaurant, though I most get takeaways from them these days. Everything is usually good.
