Excellent beer garden, lots of space and great area for kids to play. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. There was a slight problem with the wine ordered, however Alex went above and beyond to ensure our social evening went as planned! Would highly recommend and will be back.

The overall ambiance was pleasant. I enjoyed the Motown music which was loud enough to be heard without being intrusive. The staff were pleasant. The food was tasty and with the discount I felt good value. My only disappointment would be the one hour wait between arriving and actually getting down to eating especially as it didn't seem to be a particularly busy evening.

We stayed In the hotel which was clean, warm, quiet, very comfortable and well worth the price. The food and service in the restaurant/pub was great.Andrea our waitress looked after us perfectly. All topped off with a lovely breakfast the next day before our onward travels.

A few back it was my best friends birthday. I phoned and asked if I come bring a cake as part of celebration. I was told that was noTrouble. The whole staff throughout the entire meal were very prompt. They went above and beyond their duties. A real credit to themselves and the establishment. They helped mark a very special occasion and I can’t thank them enough! Thank you all so much.

We went for my wife’s birthday and looking forward to this meal. But we were extremely disappointed. I ordered the steak pie, a Scottish classic. What I received was NOT what you should expect for a steak pie. I’ve had better steak pies at my local chip shop. And what was said to be seasonal vegetables looked like a handful of grass clippings. I’m not exaggerating. My son had a sirloin steak, of which he said was the worst steak he had ever eaten. Though it was cooked medium rare, it was as dry and tough as beef jerky. My wife’s steak was also tough and chewy, only salvaged by the topping that was on the steak. About the only bright spot in our dining experience was our waiter, who did a good job, despite the quality of the food. Unfortunately, I do not remember his name. Frankly, either the head chef or the person who purchases the food for the menu, or both, should be fired. That’s how poor the food was.

Stopped in for lunch with my daughter and granddaughter. Good value for money on the fixed price lunch menu. Small play area very colourful. Our server Andrew was very attentive. Definitely worth a visit

The restaurant was very busy and service was unfortunately a tad slow due to that, however the staff were professional and kept us up to date and luckily it didn't affect our experience. The food was lovely. The hotel was mainly clean, small issue raised with reception but nothing major, just attention to detail in the bathroom. One thing though - if you've 3 people booked to go into a room maybe leaving 3 cups / glasses as standard would be better and 2 pillows on the pull out bed

My daughter and I really enjoyed our lunch. It was very tasty and great portion size. Our server Brandon was excellent from the moment we arrived and even though it was busy, he was on point with attentive service but never too pushy. He very much has a wonderful knowledge of the menu too.A very pleasant experience for us both.

We had a lovely meal at the Highland Gate Stirling today. The staff were brilliant , helpful and extremely pleasant. We could not fault the food at all. We had our small dog with us and we could not believe it when we got the puppy menu, . They fussed over our dog which he loved. I would highly recommend Highland Gate and definitely a must if you have a dog.
