Stevie is welcoming and whilst I stopped initially by accident and they weren't open, still offered me a hot drink on a cold day.Once I picked up my friends who were walking west highland way and returned (someone else had booked the accomodation), Stevie and Mark made sure we were very welcome and could not do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay.Stevie has a fountain of local knowledge too including locations of some gorgeous local waterfalls.Highly recommend a stay if doing West Highland Way (they have camping options with HOT showers!), but would also recommend a visit if you just want beautiful views and a great welcome away from the work and city hustle bustle

Had dinner at the Bunk House last night, not the first time :) Oh my gosh the food is always delicious, had the 3 courses. Staff are so lovely, friendly & welcoming, will definitely be back :) Caz & Nick x

We stayed in a hotel nearby, so this review is just for the restaurant, which was fantastic. Delicious, hearty dishes which are well priced and generously portioned. All in a stunning setting. You can stay for drinks after your meal of you are so inclined. The staff were very polite and accommodating.

Great place to stay. We used it on the West Highland Way. A bit of a climb from the bottom of the road but nothing too bad. Staff were really helpful & pleasant. Clean & brilliant hot showers. Would definitely stay again.

A lot of money paid for not much. There are several different hotels around the country that I could get for the same price that I paid here. It's a tiny room with mould, a small window that doesn't shut properly, and an old mouldy curtain that doesn't keep much light out. It's very noisy until about midnight. Lots of banging around upstairs, as the restaurant is above all the rooms.I like the idea of having designated showers for each room, but there's actually no way of stopping people using whatever shower they want, so I don't really see the point in that.Breakfast is okay, but I'm annoyed that you pay so much to stay there and then have to pay extra for the small breakfast meal.Dogs are allowed, but I couldn't find a water bowl or poo bin OUTSIDE. Also, because the rooms are so tiny, when you have people and a dog in one room, it gets very cramped.

I had such a great time in this hidden, beautiful haven. It's a great place for hikers to meet up in the end of a long day and share some time together.Everyone was so welcoming and helpful.Super nice place. I certainly wanna come back one day.

Amazing location. Such a beautiful place and the bunkhouse and bistro was a really stylish and quirky building. The food was delicious and there were at least 4 vegan options. My husband said the lemon drizzle was the best he had had.

My partner and I stopped by here in the morning before continuing on our West Highland Way journey to ask if we could order some food to take along with us on our hike for that day; as there is quite a lack of places to get food from in the area. The lovely blonde-haired young lady who served us (I'm sorry we never caught your name!) saved us, making a packed lunch to fuel the day. It was an amazing gesture that was very appreciated.

Love this bunkhouse. Warm and comfortable basic sleeping accommodation. Beautiful bistro and bar in the converted upper roof space of the old church. Didn't get a chance to try the menu but it looked amazing. Breakfast was delicious and there was lots of it! Lovely packed lunch provided. Worth noting there's was no electric plug point in my bedroom, but staff were very happy for phones to be charged in the bistro.

We were greeted in the friendliest of ways, which continued for the whole of our stay and across every staff member we encountered. The room had a very comfy bed. The allocated shower and toilet room was very good. The shower was very large with handy shelf. The standout highlight is the bistro area. Here we used an efficient form system to order breakfast, some laundry and a packed lunch; all while enjoying a beer from the very wide selection.Laundry was incredibly efficient and returned the same evening to our room (even folded!).Dinner was truly outstanding. For breakfast it was nice to enjoy a different type of quality continental breakfast. In particular the porridge was top notch and sustaining. The packed lunch was the best of the trip. Several very substantial sandwiches with obvious attention in preparation.
