Italia Nostra in Stirling

Waiting staff were exceptional, starter was lovely. Ordered a blue steak which was cold and dry, discreetly mentioned it to staff; I wasn't looking for another steak or money off, just wanted the chef to be aware so that they wouldn't serve the same to another customer. Instead, I had the chef / owner ( not sure who he was) to tell me that a blue steak was meant to be dry and I should expect it to be cold! I calmly explained that I have blue steaks at least 4 times a week and was in the catering industry myself so there is no excuse for a blue steak to be dry and cold (unless it was cooked from frozen!).His response was to raise his voice in front of everyone in the restaurant and adamantly state that I had no idea what I was talking about. His attitude and the way he spoke to me was disgusting! Shame as the waiting staff, and surroundings were pleasant until the chef decided to humiliate me!

Good food, central location and served promptly. Parking is pay at meter up the road. Sadly no children's meals/portions available.Would recommend though.

Nice background music to cover up chat.Very helpful and polite , WaiterI had chose a Tagliatelle, with meat sauce.On noticing cooked carrot in the meal.I moved my plate to the side away from me.The waiter was very quick to notice this. friendly to ask if everything was ok.I explained I cant eat cooked Carrots.He was very helpful. And quick to ask if I'd like it to be replaced. And kindly done so.As dumb as I felt about my phobia of cooked carrot. He was very polite more than welcoming and very happy to assist.Definitely recommend.There after the food was fantastic, and all round, a very fabulous an memorable experience.Most definitely worth the 5 star.

Authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Stirling, staff friendly and helpful and the food is to die for, highly recommended

Been going here for 3+ years. I have never once had a bad experience. Everything is obviously fresh, the service is nice, the place feels homely and the food is cooked to Perfection.

Best seafood pasta I have had in a long time.. Nostra Restaurant Stirling.Their meny have a wide variety of food, especially pasta. Therefore I had to go for the pasta. The prices are good based on the amount of food you get. Unfortunately the food took way too long time to be prepared. I think I waited up to 45 minutes, but it was good.The pasta had mussels, calimari, prawns and lobster in it. Good amount of seafood and well cooked too. The tomato sauce was rich in flavor. I also had some homemade garlic bread for it, which was delicious.It took way to long time to get the food. 8/10.

Delicious, authentic Italian food in a beautiful restaurant! The staff were friendly, the food coming from the kitchen all looked and tasted lovely.

Had an amazing experience here! Atmosphere, food, staff - all of it was great. The best Tiramisu I have had. Would also recommend the pasta with scallops and the risotto with mussels and chicken. I would definitely come again if visiting Stirling.

Great food, the bruschetta was amazing! Also our pizzas were really fresh, tasty and perfectly baked. The staff was friendly, and though there weren't a lot of customers for a sit in dinner because of covid period, the staff made the ambience very nice. I would highly recommend eating here! The restaurant was working really hygienic according to covid hygiene protocols: a lot of cleaning products for your hands, staff was wearing face masks and also a hygienic way of serving the food. You can eat here safely 😁
