Absolutely legendary staff and locals, best pub experience I've had in a long time. Shout out to the locals.

What a fantastic makeover this bar has had! A wonderful fresh look with friendly staff and a lively atmosphere on a Friday evening. The manager took the time to talk us through some of the changes and what other excitint new things will be coming up soon. Wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

I love this place sad that it is closed right now

Pubs the way they used to be. This is one of the oldest pubs in Edinburgh (it dates back to 1793), but it's definitely not on the tourist trail. The internal features are cited in Scotland heritage directory. If it was closer to the centre it would've been converted into a dead trendy pub by now. Food is burger or wraps.

Staff (you know who you are c) amazing! Pool, buckfast with ice and, generally, a great old laugh. Thanks
