Tired and thirsty after a hike up Ben Venue, is this a mirage? is my mind playing tricks with me? No, you have arrived at The Byre Inn.Reggae music softly playing, highland cows mooing in the distance. a roaring wood-fired pizza oven & children toasting marshmallows. Did I just see a broken down London Bus parked in the driveway? What ever has happened here in the past 20 years and culminated in the most perfect spot for a Trossach pint.

Thanks to Jason & Max - had a great meal and a proper good chat. Made us feel more than welcome - myself, my partner & my dog.If you’re ever nearby, definitely pop in for a lovely atmosphere with some fantastic people.👏

Fantastic little rustic pub. Easy walk from some pitches in The Three Lochs camping area. Tables outside in the trees, open brasier fires and great beer! So glad we found this place!

Such a lovely little place in an amazing setting. A small but beautiful establishment run by a very welcoming and friendly owner and his wife, both of whom made our stay very memorable, and has made us commit to visiting again in the future. We took advantage of staying in our camper in the car park after enjoying a tasty meal and a decent selection of beers in the evening. Charming outdoor seating area amongst all the trees with firepits dotted with some 10/10 tunes being played. Thanks for a great time, will see you again!

Lovely little place off the beaten track. Great service from the young boy working the bar and restaurant. We had soup and a burger each, both really nice, especially the sweet potato and chilli soup. Our dog was made to feel very welcome, as were we.

Couldn’t fault the Byre Inn. Jason is a great host. Just had a meal for 2...beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Book in advance as it does get fully booked...it’s well worth it. We’ll be back on Friday!!

Staying at Loch Achray it was a very short walk around the Loch to the Byre Inn which we found on google, the manager Jason is very welcoming and friendly, their local ipa was on tap which was tasty as was the burger off the menu such a nice place to sit outside when it's sunny

We came here after hiking Ben A'an. A great gastropub for a pint and and a snack to warm up after a walk. The inn has a cozy atmosphere and the staff was friendly. I would give it five stars, but when we came in at 3:30pm they said there were no tables or food, despite the place being empty and food purportedly served from 12pm-9pm. Maybe next time we'll get to try the food.
