I only stopped in at the restaurant whilst passing through Killin but I can say that was the best fish and chips I've ever had. The staff were also incredibly friendly the entire time. Will be back

I rang The Courie Inn before coming on holiday to the area, hoping to book a table, not realising the covid restrictions and out of season dates meant many places were temporarily shut, including The Courie Inn. Despite this Lynn took the care and time to ring me back and explain the circumstances in the area, even though I would not be able to be a customer. She was exceptionally helpful and kind in making suggestions for making the most of our trip despite the closures. Lynn even mentioned I could ring her once we were in the area if I needed any more local advice. I am very appreciative of her generosity and friendliness and would assume that any establishment she owns/runs would be welcoming and of a high standard. Lynn - we did go to Edinburgh on the train for the day and it was brilliant. Wouldn’t have thought of doing that without your suggestion. The whole week was great. If we come again in season we will be sure to book The Courie Inn. Thank you so much.

Full and complete package of excellence. Stayed 2 nights, room was a lovely fresh style and spotlessly clean. Bar and restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. And the food was outstanding, so much so we cancelled a booking elsewhere and came back the second night. Staff were extremely friendly without ever being intrusive.

Popped in for a drink 🍺🍸found it a very welcoming bar, booked a table for the following night with friends, had a very nice meal served by a lovely waitress who was very informative and jolly, it was a bit quiet but still had a good night. Recommended.

Booked an "End of season" meal for 6 people. Booking process was fuss-free and easy.Five out of the six of us had steaks (with apologies to the beastie) and one fish and chips. Steak cooked to perfection, and also had an excellent taste. I know that should be a given, but sometimes steak just doesn't taste of anything. This was a PROPER tasty steak. The fish and chips were the size of a North Sea trawler. And special mention goes to the chips... Should you get excited about something as mundane as a chip? You should when they're as good as this. Crispy, fluffy and tasty. Jings, they were good. No room for desserts, but a few of us had excellent after-dinner coffee.It's not a cheap eat, but nothing this good is. The almost constantly full diary tells you that.Keep calm, and Courie on...Highly, highly recommended.

Went for some pre meal drinks and was relieved to see I could get Tennants Lager here. Meal wise, absolutely brilliant. Rib eye steak cooked to perfection and probably the best restaurant chips I have ever tasted.Service was excellent, prices OK. All in all, a positive experience and would definitely recommend The Courie Inn for dining in Killen.

A delightful place to stay. Our room was very clean, cosy & comfortable and the staff were extremely polite & helpful. The vegan options for breakfast & dinner were really good. Cauliflower bites followed by a sweet potato & chickpea curry for dinner was exceptionally good. Thanks very much!

Came In to get an evening meal, to find out that they had stopped doing food nearly an hour before I arrived. All other replaces In town had stood serving as well.They however very generously offered to pop a fryer back on, and rustle up a fish and chips. It was extremely welcomed as I had been out in the rain for most of the day.Everyone was amazingly caring, and went well out their way, to help this hungry, and rather damp, customer.A massive thank you to everyone who was on that evening.

We popped into the Courie Inn for a post-ride drink. After seeing the food menu, we asked if we could have dinner. It was fully booked, but we could eat outside. We were wild camping nearby so really wanted an indoor tea so the landlady rearranged a couple of tables to squeeze us in. Thank you!3 courses of very good food followed. I had Cullen Skink, locally smocked salmon salad then shared brownies for dessert. Absolutely wonderful place. Accommodating, friendly, very good food and lovely location. Highly recommend.
