The Golden Chip in Stirling

If this is the best in the city heaven help Stirling. Absolutely horrible - weird batter tasteless fish and soggy chips. Avoid, there must be better available.

Used to be good for at a reasonable price. I normally order using the app and its ready by the time I get there. Tried to use the app a couple of weeks ago for it to say that they were closed until March 2022.So, took the chance and drove in to order. I arrived to be faced with all new faces behind the counter and the main menu jacked up in price. The only items that I could tell hadn't gone up were the kids meals, which I was going to buy anyway.Ordered the food and paid. I had ordered some kids Bartered pizzas and when they came out of the fryer, they were only a 1/4 of a pizza instead of the usual 1/2 pizza and trays were being prepared for the food that were equally as small so I assume the chip portion is also reduced.Unfortunately, I had to ask for a refund and take my business elsewhere.

Food was just a bit too salty had stinging lips after I was finished other than that the foods good

Awful service, waited over 2 hours for myFood and all the woman could say was the driver was ‘busy’ as they only had one driver for a Friday night. Absolute joke off a place telling people I know not to go there!!!!!!!

waited over two hours for my order before cancelling. Shame they didnt pass it on to the poor driver however as he showed up to my house after i had left for work. Wouldnt order from here again. At least the driver was apologetic (actually felt sorry for him)

Under new management. Would not recommend this place. Got a fish supper and a half pizza crunch supper and a portion of curry sauce. £14.50. Waste of money. Thougjtvi would give it a try never again. Stick to the fountain best chippy in the tiwn
