Went for a Sunday bite to eat with family and my puppy here last week. Dogs are allowed in the bar area of this pub (though need to stay on their leads and on the foot rather than on your lap). Great menu, friendly and helpful staff. Food was ace. My puppy enjoyed a little dish prepared by the kitchen team. At the end of the meal there were little mint chocolates for the humans and a little dog biscuit for my pup 🐶. A very positive experience. We will return.

Very disappointing. Goats cheese starter had hardly any goats cheese, whatever goat's cheese was on the plate was hidden under a mountain of chutney. I sent it back but the replacement wasn't much better. The cod was very basic and was served with brussel sprouts. They served the kids meal with no veg accompaniments as described. My beef medallions were not beef medallions as I have ever had before, they were underseasoned and came with a mountain of mashed potato. The entire restaurant then overheated leaving us dripping in sweat. It was hogmanay but at nearly 30 quid for 2 courses I would expect higher quality food. Couldn't fault the staff though who were pleasant throughout.

Food come out Luke warm. Had to take it away and re-heat. Disappointed in this place, as I have come here before and it was great. Last visit for me for a long time!

Was visiting friends in Glasgow and they'd been dying to show me this restaurant so I had high expectations. I wasn't disappointed! The food was lovely, the staff were friendly and the apple crumble was to die for!

What a wonderful hidden gem! Fantastic food and really friendly staff make this place a must visit whilst in Stirling. The interior is cosy and relaxing too, making it a brilliant place to eat, drink and relax.

This was a stop on one of our cruise excursions. A respite from a day of touring. We enjoyed a modest lunch of a deconstructed pot pie of sorts. Lots of beverages such as tea, beer, wine, and spirits. Off of the main road and if you didn't know it was there...you'd miss this lovely gem! Staff was very friendly and welcoming!
