The Waverley Hotel in Stirling

They managed to squeeze us in during a very busy period. The food still came out after about 20min and was delicious. Loved it will be back.

A really nice pub and food is good. Unfortunately severely understaffed . Two people on on a Friday and Sunday. One girl waitressing and one man behind bar constantly apologising for waiting time and lots of food and drink missing from menu choice. Its such a shame as they're both doing their best but customers are leaving or being turned away. Not the staffs fault.

Just visited The Waverley with my family, place looks amazing, staff were awesome and food was fantastic. The manager Derek was very attentive and even showed us around. Was good to see the head chef out speaking to the customers aswell. Would highly recommend it 😁 we will be back!

Just been here today with family for some food ordered a rump steak it come with chips and onion rings looked lovely then the smell that come off the plate was horrendous to the point I could eat it the woman come to see how the food was told her it was terrible I never eat anything she said she would say to the chef but nothing was done and was still charged for the meal Not worth the money at all was also charged for 2 side of garlic bread we never ordered we ordered 2 Mac and cheese it says it comes with garlic bread which it did but then got 2 bowls of garlic bread along with it that we were charged for we asked for another water and lemon the girl said sure it never arrived either had to ask for the onion rings that never turned up with the burger which was so dry it was terrible won’t be back anyway if I could give it 0 stars I would

We booked The Waverly through Booking.com. When we arrived the hotel had no knowledge of our booking, said the new owners had not honoured any of Booking.com's previous bookings. So disappointed. The hotel have raised their prices and breakfast is now extra. We felt they didn't really care that we had a booking because it was booked months ago at a cheaper price. Will never come back to this hotel again.

The recent refurbishment is very nice (although it could look like a hipster pub anywhere in the UK). Unfortunately food pretty disappointing, minimal effort pub ping food. Nachos consisted of plastic cheese, plastic soured cream, soggy tortillas and a runny gloop of chilli; my burger was passable but that's hard to get wrong! Funnily the staff never asked if we enjoyed our meal or if everything was okay 🤣.

Had a great couple of days at the Waverley , Siobhan and her team made us very welcome room was comfortable and clean food good we'll be back

Had an amazing lunch here , especially being vegetarian it is very difficult to find good food in the UK. Waverly was a delight in that terms 😍. The vegan spaghetti was beautifully made with lots of veggies and yummy sauce. The bang bang satay halloumi burger was the best burger I had till date in Scotland . The service from Waverly team waS amazing too . Great work guys keep up the good work 👍🏻. Absolute must visit for vegetarians and vegans.

Great value accommodation. Clean rooms recently refurbished. Great food and friendly staff. Full cooked breakfast was excellent!

This is only a review of the restaurant and pub as we didn't stay here. The food here was really quite delicious, up there with the best pub food I've had. The pub section had relatively limited seating inside, but the drink selection was great. The only minor issue I had was that it could become extremely hot inside; some air con would have been great.
