Armando's Restaurant in Amber Valley

Excellent food, service and ambiance. Not cheap but good value overall. I had the duck a l'orange which was excellent, certainly one for a large appetite. Wine was priced fairly and good quality. The only slight criticism was that the main course was served too quickly after the starter, no sooner was one cleared and the other arrived. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely place to eat. Lovely food. Lovely staff. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Have recommended to friends who say are going to book a table soon. 👍

Lovely little place. When you go upstairs it has a real Italian feel. Staff were keen and very attentive.

Fantastic staff, efficient and helpful service with a smile, the staff were very accommodating as we had family members not so good with stairs they offered alternate ways of getting to the table with less steps. Food was delicious for the whole table, no complaints about any part of the evening. Will definitely be returning soon and would recommend if looking for a great evening out.

Absolutely amazing! Fantastic food and service in a beautiful restaurant. As good a meal as I have ever tasted. Can't recommend this place highly enough.Certainly not cheap but is reflected in the quality being served. Wouldn't hesitate to use again if in the Belper area again.Thank you to all concerned for such a memorable evening.

Had a family meal to celebrate a silver wedding anniversary. Very tasty meal. Well looked after by staff. Had a good vegan menu too. Highly recommended.

Thank you for your response. But if you are for a special meal with your hubby do you really want to attract a waitress attention and complain. Normal operating standards you ask the customer is everything ok. No one did only asked if we wouldn' like pepper before we had chances to taste meal. We were obviously ignored relaying tables was more important than clearing our plates after 15 mins. And serving dessert menu we had to ask

Steak was over cooked my partners was only cooked one side. The pepper corn sauce was dreadful. Staff are friendly could not do enough to help. Very expensive for what you get offered.
