Brookfields garden centre cafe in Amber Valley

Visited for the first time in a decade, a long time but really worth the journey. Have just about everything you could need for the garden. New restaurant which was lovely, food was a reasonable price and very tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would recommend this garden centre to anyone.

Can't recall the last time I'd been but they have changed the lay out a little, you now enter the shop on the left, where the exit was. They flow of the shopping experience is much nicer, still don't understand why there is such a long entrance to the cafe, feels like the entrance to a theme park ride.Nice food and drink in the cafe.Great selection of products for home and garden.Plant selection is great.

Came here today for lunch, the soft play (which is really good) and a look around. Can't say much on the centre today as I have spent so long waiting for my order it's sapped any sort of energy I had. The food itself is nice and the cake selection was impressive and tasty, but as with previous visits, dear god service was slower than a snail in treacle

Its been many years since I visited last but was very surprised how 'up market Brookfield's has become... nice selection of mothers day items that had its own area. So many plants, trees, sheds and other ideas like patios or conservatories. This garden center has a large food area and an area for kids with a custom play area.

Plants are fine but the cafe could be improved. Standing in the queue can be a long wait especially if you just want a cake and coffee. The queue is the same for hot food so you are just waiting, another till opened or table service just on food would be better.When ordering hot food when you want it HOT again due to queue it is sat on a tray so by the time you get served it is warm or condensation built up under a plastic dome to keep it warm.....Queue can stretch at busy times into the gift section ...This could definitely be improved as it seemed like there was plenty of staff on...The garden centre has lovely plants, pet things and gifts some staff are friendly.

A favourite with all my family. Always manage to find what we want/need. Some lovely gifts. Often discounted. The food is varied and hot. Beautiful desserts, especially the cakes!

Wonderful range of products for both the garden and home, plus excellent cafe facilities and even a small softplay area to keep the younger children busy whilst parents can watch whilst enjoying a coffee. Also good selection of small animals (rabbits etc) plus fish for free baby sensory!!

Excellent shop has something for all we love the variety of fish and buy some great ones
