Costa Coffee in Amber Valley

Love the coffee, staff really busy, needed more to clear and clean the tables.Toddlers running around, not safe when people had hot coffee.

A Costa coffee shop is at the end of the day quite generic. As Costas go this is more of the same. They try but the service as with so many other Costa Coffee outlets, is slow. There must be something on the training that say once the customer pays for their beverage there is no rush to supply the goods. It doesn't have to be that way. I have been to Costa outlets when the cashier and barista has worked in one and the coffee is being prepared as I am paying and so ready for when I reach the serving area. This is the exception though.Nothing wrong with this outlet just the way Costa Coffee is set up I guess.

Clean. We didnt realise they were closing, we'd had drinks and been there around 90mins whena young lad shouted over "we're closed". A cautionary 10 mins warning would've been better.

Why is the coffee never hot in Costa coffee houses and I think I have sussed it, it's so you drink it quickly and get out. I maybe wrong. The piece of cake was delicious though. The young lady that served us really didn't want to be there. The place was clean and tidy though.

Same as any other costa but their range is often better than most. Love it when they have donuts.

This is Martins partner writing this review. Came down for lunch out date sandwiches absolutely filthy..Floor is disgraceful covered in crumbs staff so disinterested... one chewing gum another standing on his mobile phone not what you would expect . Clearly no supervision in this costa.

Watch out when you are here my sister was pickpocketed and a guy tried to get my purse out my pocket when I went the other day. Both were older men. One guy had a little boy with him that he used to distract my sister.The staff are friendly and the coffees are nice. Best costs in the area for coffees.

Great place with a nice view when sitting beside a window. Friendly and clean environment. A lot of people including myself like to go in and work on the laptop. However there are people who go for a casual drink and chat as well.

Cloth and cleaning fluid left on dirty table so I cleaned our table. No oat milk available, they had run out of it. Arrived 2pm so disappointed that ordering had not allowed for customer demand.Otherwise the food was well stocked and the place was clean.

The coffee is consistent and I like the salted caramel brownie.
