A very friendly pub with a great relaxed and happy atmosphere and welcoming staff. There is plenty of parking and designated spaces for disabled people. The seats are comfy. I highly recommend the Fisherman's Rest for a very enjoyable evening. The photo is of a performer at one of the pub's Stagefright nights.

Nice pub in the countryside with great views from the large outdoor beer garden. Decent selection of beers and friendly staff. Recommended on a warm summers day to anyone staying at the nearby Firs Caravan and Motorhome club site.

Very disappointed.after one year 1st night out with old work mates we thought it would be a good place to meet.all 3 of us arrived at 8 pm 9.20 girl behind bar asking if we would like another drink has switching till of and closing.no atmosphere no food .grab some cans of beer and go sit in Belper bus station it's more fun .

Very disappointed. The 3 serving staff don't wear masks, no track and trace barcode or paper. No cleaning of tables between users. No one way system. Customers don't wear masks when they get up from their tables. In my opinion not covid secure at all.A great pity because a nice garden and the one quick beer I had was good.

The pub has a great garden for enjoying afternoon or evening sunshine. There are loads of well spaced out tables outside. So perfect for the current Covid situation. Oh, and there's a good choice of well kept beers!

Love the Fisherman's rest. Whether it's to call in for a pint after a cycle ride, a walk out for a beer with the dog or (as tonight) a meal (pizzas are Scrummy). There's always a warm welcome...

Lovely pub, easily walkable from Belper. Great selection of ale and gin, great food (all locally sourced), nice garden with chickens. Very welcoming Landlord/Lady. Friendly punters. Give it a visit!

Lovely cosy, dog and people friendly pub! Not a vast menu but choices for vegetarians and gluten free. Every thing locally sourced and home cooked. Burger was delicious, only little niggle was the tomatoes and onions made bottom of bread bun soggy and difficult to pick up. Loved the little touches of hand creams in ladies and free sun cream and wipes.
