Kathmandu Gurkha in Amber Valley

Great food with a Nepalese theme. We use regularly for takeaways and occasional sit down meal. It has a great menu with some lovely house specials and the service is great.

Very good value for money. We came here for a pre boxing fight curry with the lads. Service was good, food was even better. The chef special Katmandu is amazing and would highly recommend that dish, This came with rice and choice of naan bread. The Gurkha beer is very good too. Would highly recommend to anyone in ripley and will be back soon

Lamb chewy, really bland sauce in massala, bhuna redicuously spicy. Not good at all. Would not order again

Wonderful plentiful food, something different. Waiting staff knowledgeable and very polite and lovely. Wish we didn't live an hour away cos we would be regulars

The food is always amazing. Never had a bad one yet be it dine in or takeaway. The only curry in Ripley worth eating nowadays.

Excellent food. Really tasty, fresh and homemade. Only some dishes could be spicy hot for my liking.....but I'm sure they could do that if you asked.

Always great tasty food from this restaurant and this visit was no exception. I had chicken shashlick with was gorgeous, a generous portion and hot. Big portion of rice and lovely fluffy naan. Quick service, friendly staff.i recommend trying this place, you won't be dissappointed

Our first visit for years but definitely won't be leaving it long before we visit again. The presentation looked great and the quality of the food was even better. Lovely friendly staff too.
