The last time I went was with a group of friends. We had a meal at the local Chinese and decided to pop in for a drink. The pub was fairly quiet, the music was on loud which is to be expected especially on a weekend. The bar staff were all talking amongst themselves which was fine at first until we felt we were being ignored, when we finally got served the barlady was rude and didn't even take my drink order right and 3 out of 5 friends drinks were wrong. I accepted it because the music was loud and maybe they hadn't heard and I should of complained at the time but I was feeling annoyed with her rudeness and just wanted to enjoy my time with my friends. The staff started messing around behind the bar which again is fine, everyone should have fun but they were putting ice down each others tops and trousers, they were very "touchy feely" which didn't feel very professional. A fight broke out which isn't unusual in this pub and the security did their job even though they were originally sat at the bar with a pint. I haven't had a good experience in this pub for many years and that is why I have given it one star!

Great meal that our club had here. The Christmas meal was very tasty and filling.

Not very good customer service at all. This place was recommend and this same bar person was said to me nice! I appreciate that the female bar person was on her own, I have worked on public houses for many years. However, she had no awareness who was in the que to be served in order. Attitude was very rude. She wanted me to buy drinks them que again after serving quite a few others before she would even take my order. Quite an agreesive manor. We will never return to this place. Would not recommend it either.

Waitress was rude, she didnt serve us claiming she cant confirm the birth date from foreign id and claimed that my UK driving license is fake, even though before lockdown there was no problem with any of that, she wanted my bank card to confirm it, I dont know how, but it doesnt seem safe to give a complete stranger your bank card. Overall bad expierience, feel like she just didnt wanted to serve foreigners. Do not recommend.
