Lotus Lounge in Amber Valley

Portions were tiny for what you pay overall, £16.50 per person and there were 4 of us and only had the ability to order 4 things at a time, especially when the time to get the food is 10 mins at a time there’s no point. Then they make you pay if you waste food when there’s about 2 spoonfuls full of portion anyway. One of the waitresses had earphones in and had no manners at all, normally wouldn’t complain but this is by far the worst restaurant I’ve been to, COSMOS will do next time! The other woman who served us was very kind although so can’t complain about her.

Fantastic flavours, all you can eat. Well organised service, even when busy. Staff were lovely. Good atmosphere and clean. Good value for money.

Very tasty nicely presented food and lots of it. Eat as much as you like menu is now £19.50 but for a once in a while treat we like it. Try as many tasty bits as you like and find out what you like on the menu. Parking is easy nearby also. Recommended.

We had the all you can eat menu. Rib prawns crispy duck satay yuk sung prawn crackers everything cooked fresh and didn't take long to get to the table, when you finished with starters you order main courses, staff were very attentive smiling and friendly. Would recommend this restaurant.

Sort of an 'as much as you can eat' place. The starters were OK, but the mains were limited in choice and mediocre in quality. We went on a Friday evening, the atmosphere was good and the staff friendly. I would rate it 3 and a half stars.

Excellent food. Best around for taste and freshly cooked. Price is good too. I've taken off one star for how the food is served. There was three of us in our party so you could only order three dishes at a time and the dishes are small, this is done to prevent waste. This became a bit tedious and took a long time to get through our three courses.
