Macdonalds in Amber Valley

Just been through your drive through Ripley (Tuesday 20:00) very disappointing took forever even though not busy, burgers were stone cold and fries ridiculously salty. On the plus side the orange juice was lovely n cold!! ☹️☹️

Several times we have used this McDonald’s and repeatedly the service is terribly slow even when not busy. Waited 11 minutes on last visit with one couple waiting, one car in the drive through and two online orders on the screen.The food was cool yet again, watched the manager walk past a basket of fries stood over the fryer for several minutes, lots of food just sat under a single heat lamp bulb so don’t know how they manage it, as I counted 3 people in the kitchen and 3 on the front on a weekday evening, plus drive thru staff, several people in my office have repeatedly complained that the food is cold.Use the one near Designer Outlet although it’s busy they serve hot food on every occasion.

Tables and seating area very clean. Food cold and unappetising. It looked very disorganised behind the counter, resulting in food left sitting for long enough to get cold before the order was served. Disappointing.

I regularly use this drive thru and have got used to poor service, even service as bad as I had tonight, but I can't cope with rude staff.I waited too long for someone to take my order. I waited too long to have my payment taken. I waited so long for my food I didn't get it. I had waited so long I was going to be late for an appointment so I had to get a refund rather than wait another 10 minutes for my food. I had to wait too long for my refund too. 20 minutes from start to fail is not good enough.I can cope with all that, but I can't cope with poor manners. Not one member of staff apologised. The staff at the food window made me feel like it was my fault I'd waited so long. I asked the shift manager to review my journey but I doubt she will. Unless something changes drastically I won't be going back.

Always clean. Friendly staff Just ashame about the heating, abit cool in the restaurant and trying to find a table where the air conditioning isn't blowing on you

So much for fast food. After a 20 minute wait to be served, when it wasn't even busy the order was sorted only after complaining. Poor service.

Every flipping single time I use this drive - thru they miss something off the order!! Today it was missing bacon on the bacon double stack burger!! Thought the name would kinda give them a clue that it's supposed to have bacon on it!! Ggrrrrr plus it was cold!! I'm done!!

I don't think I have ever ordered food from here and received what i aksed for. there is ALWAYS something missing or something that wasn't on the order in place of something we asked for. Today we were expecting 2 large chips with the meals, instead there was 1 chips and a tea we didn't order

Very nice staff, helpful if needed to be, however. Do not use the drivethru. For the past 5 months we've been going through and every time they've missed something off our order eg; Ordered the toasted muffin with jam, they forgot the jam and refused to replace it. We ordered 2 big Mac meals and they forgot to give us or chips. Great for dining in, but rubbish for drive through.

Drive through lanes moving at very unequal rates. The person taking the orders & payment had the audacity to argue with me when I pointed out that my order was wrong on screen. Finally got her to make the screen reflect what I had ordered. Recieved the food, only to find that it was wrong (as pointed out by me, at the point of payment). How hard can it be to perform such a mindless, unskilled task with some degree of competence? Pathetic!
