Fantastic little cafe. Staff were very friendly. We both had sourdough toast with crispy bacon, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce - delicious. My daughter had flat white coffee and I had cappuccino with just the right amount of chocolate sprinkles. Highly recommend this place and its independent too.

Very nice bistro coffee bar on the West Side of Alfreton town on a quieter road.Had a couple of visits here, both times very happy with the service, food and coffee. This time was rarebit with beer cooked onions which was delicious. Great coffee, wide selection of extravagant hot chocolates (festive) flavours. All in a nicely designed, clean and stylish interior with old beams and original features. Keep it local. Cut out the Costa.

Wow what can I say!! A fantastic experience from start to finish. Service and food was worth 10★ and more. A big thank you to Ebony, Angie and Alicia for taking good care of us. We love our puddings, but just didn't have the room for one 😂Love the Broadhurst family

Very nice place, nice atmosphere nice decor and something a bit different on the menu. Has a couple of veggie options too - has a lovely patio area at the back in summer. They let you take your dog in so it’s got to be good just for that!!

Called in on a Saturday for lunch, was very busy, managed to get a table after about 10 minutes, we went for the drunken cheese rarebit served with boozy onions topped with cheese on sourdough toast, it was delicious, coffee was lovely too, we then shared the courgette and lime cake and caramel shortbread, which again were lovely, the place is lovely and homely, the staff were nice and friendly, will definitely visit again.

Coffee not that hot,my veggie breakfast was OK,but the poached eggs and smoked salmon on sourdough toast was mean stingy on the portions, other posh bistros do it better for the price.

Lovely atmosphere, beautiful food and really nice staff. This is such a gem in Alfreton. I can't wait to go back again and try something else from the menu because they all sounded delicious !
