Met with friends for lunch. Very busy as usual but food arrived quickly. No time limit on how long you could stay. Ladies next to us had a cream tea, looked delicious.

Visited the café as part of meeting up with a relative. Found it most enjoyable overall. COVID precautions good. Access good. Good range of drinks and cakes fresh made soup of the day, sandwiches, home made quiches, lasagne (veg option) baked potato with various toppings and small side salad. Free top up with filter coffee. A good cuppa too (decent breakfast tea leaf blend)Visit the garden / garden nursery while your there.Be careful getting there on narrow country lanes.

A hidden gem of a garden centre, known about this place for a while and finally made it there. The plants are really good and priced very reasonably and we came away with a careful of stuff much cheaper than we thought. The place has quirky charm about and feels very relaxed, the staff are really nice and very knowledgable about all things garden related and just to cap everything off, there is a super little tea room. Definately going again.

The gardens are beautiful, the nursery is well stocked and fairly priced and the cafe is great. Win win win!

My friend, dog and myself were turned away from nearby Culland plant fair as no dogs allowed. We chanced upon Meynell Garden Center that we had both heard of and wanting to visit. ASTOUNDING! Don't know where to start explaining. The 2yr. Old garden is unbelievable, we were greeted (mother & daughter?) so naturally & nicely by gosh...busy people. Afer strolling around (in awe) we were informed of the "grass roots" of the garden (by the husband?). Saw a plumcott, is this a first? Onwards to the plants...thousands of them! Impressed by their health and very well priced. I work in horticulture and had to scrutinise for any weeds, remarkable, only found 2 (obviously I had to carefully shake them out!)2 lovely labs, the younger taking exceptional interest with my lovely staffie, Mary. Lovely proprietors, staff and customers we had so many smiles, conversations & as we walked back to the car a lovely smile & wave from the beautiful ladies in charge of the garden. Thank you so much for a special day! Next time a cake will be required!!!!

The garden has opened early and it is stunning. The garden centre cafe was clean, the staff friendly and the cakes gorgeous. I went overboard buying plants but I couldn't resist. All in all a lovely afternoon. The photos don't do it justice 🙂

Lovely to go to a garden centre that concentrates on plants rather than a gift shop.Plants were of a good selection and good quality. We had tea and some lovely cakes too and cake selection looked better quality than other centres I've visited.

Very pleasant surprise. It doesn't look much but goes on and on. The people were so helpful and full of information. The cafe is lovely and quite reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

Displays and trials of new and existing varieties of bedding plants, herbaceous perennials and vegetable plants grown at the adjacent nursery. Over 180 hanging baskets and floral displays. The adjacent nursery features tea rooms. Level ground and firm grass; and some hard paths.
