Good food, nice coffee, served very quickly but counterstaff could've been more helpful to first time visitors.

Queued 30 plus mins and decided coffee and cake was the only option due to the wait for hot food. Coffee awful..waitress unable to tell me how many shots of coffee I was getting 😳 Won't be going back 😕

Brilliant cafe, cheap prices, lovely staff, food great

Waited for an incredibly long time for a simple order. As it was a Tuesday morning it wasn't that busy. Coffee was like warm and not good. Scone was hard. A real shame.

Really good selection of food and drinks available. Bacon in the cobs we had was really nice, thick and tasty and cooked really well. Cakes looked amazing too, maybe next time.The only improvement I could suggest would be using different coffee beans in the machine

I have never known such poor and slow service. Everytime I come here in takes an age to even do the simplest orderStaff are rude and behave like you're am inconvenience. So sorry to be keeping you in a job with my custom! Can't wait for Derby lodge to reopen. Says something when the cage staffed by special needs adults has better service.

Very long wait for drinks. I don't mind that as it's nice to take time out, but not when the coffee you receive is in a small glass, only luke warm and costs £2:90! Wow ! You would expect table service and piping hot for that cost. The cakes did look lovely but didn't try

Service fantastic, with a smile, great drinks even for the health conscious wanting to veg out. Scones so large we have to share them. You can sit outside under cover with your dog any time of the year and even watch barn owls while you sit there in spring while it's dusky not too late.

Very long wait for two coffees this morning, also if you ask for regular filter coffee check the price you're charged. I was charged for large even though I specifically asked for regular. Lady who served me wasn't aware they even offered regular. It was clearly written on the menu board....regular £1.70....large £1.90She seemed to have a problem understanding that she has overcharged me. Nice cafe but rather expensive.

Wonderful homemade scones and other goodies. You can have a snack or a meal, whatever you decide will be delicious. The staff or pleasant and helpful. The cafe is clean and bright. For young children there is a fairy hunt, see how many fairies you can find in the cafe. A lovely place to sit and relax after you outdoor activities in the park
