Royal Ghurka in Amber Valley

5 of us went here on a Tuesday night, and ate in.Nice, friendly place (although it does feel like you're going into someone's house and sitting in the lounge, not necessarily a bad thing), and the service / food was really nice.We were the only people in there so service was quick, and food was hot.They seemed to do alot of deliveries whilst we were there.Prices were OK, £25 each Inc drinks and a tip.Worth a visit.

Chicken tikka tasted lovely as always , absolutely love there sauce but I'm extremely guttered at the fact there was only 4 small slices of chicken inside, I order 3 chicken tikkas and all of them had sod all chicken inside, I asked for cheese and garlic nann bread with extra garlic. I got a plane nann bread with tiny bit of garlic no cheese atall, just spent nearly £50 on this so off course I'm not very happy ,especially as the food tastes great just so annoyed at the nann bread and chicken situation , if the owner can sort this mistake out I will happily take my review down

Best curry, best everything price , staff , old school style establishment and if you want it hot just ask for it. Just about the best pickle Trey in the west.

We've been to dine in once before since this changed hands (if I recall correctly) and we somewhat recently ordered takeaway for my dad's birthday. Both times the food was incredible. It's arguably the best tasting Indian food in the area. The delivery took a bit longer than expected when we ordered takeaway, but this was leading up to a bank holiday and I expect they were very busy.

Very disappointed always order from here and never had a problem but tonight after being told they couldn't order to my address as it was too far ( literally 1 minute away) they then agreed delivery. Was told it would be 45 minutes a hour and a half later still no food or apology so asked for a refund which they were reluctant.

Chicken tikka masala was so sweet you might as well eat a bag of sugar, 44ally disappointed, if your ordering a curry avoid avoid...

Fantastic food. Great experience. Staff were incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Highly recommended. Cannot wait to visit again. 5*****

Ordered our food at 8pm with a 45 minute delivery time sound waited till 915pm before deciding to chase my order up I was told it would be with me in 5 to 10 minutes that's fine. It got to 940pm still no sign rang again I was told 2 minutes the delivery driver had to go to the petrol station ok that's fine by 10pm there was still no sign rang again to be told they would have to cook my food again. Waste of time avoid this place

First time at this restaurant in fact first time for me in an Indian restaurant. Absolutely fantastic food and service. The staff were so friendly and helpful. My partner said the Tikka Masalla she had was the best she'd ever had.

This is the best Indian in the region by far!!My brother and I went for a pre-birthday dinner and the food was amazing. We ordered Poppadoms, Naans, Dumplings, and Curries. They were all sublime!!The only critism I would have is their beer selection, however the beer they do have is very good.
