Great Sunday Roast, Beef and Roasties particularly good. Had Eton Mess dessert to finish. Staff were lovely. Will definitely go again. Good garden for the sunny days to come.👌🐮

1 plate of fish and chips demolished. It is the best fish and chips I've had in a while. Great service and lovely environment. Chips were home made and the fish was excellent.

It's the first time we've been to this pub. It's a very well kept establishment. We had drinks and a meal. The steak was so tasty. Will be going back again soon. 😁

Not particularly busy, with quite a limited food offering. The cask offering was quite poor and mine tasted slightly tainted. Mentioned it to a waitress in the beer garden, who said she'd pass the comments on !!!! Wouldn't rush back, nice beer garden though. Just as an add on to your reply, if you have 6 ales on, then you're definitely not selling them quick enough, cut down on your cask and improve quality 👌

Stayed at The Bull's Head for one night as part of a trip around the area - brilliant stay, kind and helpful staff (who went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed), clean and spacious room with a lovely view, great food and great atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend to everyone!

Very nice country pub with very welcoming staff. There's a great range of well kept real ales. The food was OK but that's about it. Sausages were definitely at the budget end of the scale and the mash was very much like instant.Great place for a pint.

lovely country pub, like its next to Belper but feels like the peak district. good for walkers, bikers, dog friendy. nice staff always happy to serve. nice bit of grub too!

Clean pub. Lovely ambience and nice decor. The staff were pleasant and attentive. The veggie Sunday lunch was very tasty indeed!

I am pleased to say that owners of The Bulls Head have published an apology for allowing the local Fox Hunting group to use their pub. They were horrified that they had been misled by these people and have banned them. The excellent reputation that this pub has developed locally is well earned. I would like to thank them and wish them every success in the future.

Really good to rediscover this traditional country pub. We didn't realize it had reopened until planning a walk in the area. It was fairly quiet on a Saturday lunchtime. 3 traditional English bitters were well kept and I can recommend the Timothy Taylor's Landlord. The menu varies from day to day but always features pub classics. We tried haddock and chips, Mediterranean vegetable tart with salad and fries, also a chicken casserole. All very tasty and generous helpings. Very hard to tear ourselves away to finish our walk.
