The best roast we have ever had in a pub. Can’t recommend highly enough. Wish we lived nearer!

A nice welcoming country pub. Great log burner. Good food. Good quality beer and wine. Lost us as food customers though as a recent experience showed they can't be bothered with customer requests. Quiet lunchtime. Asked for two bowls of chips with grated cheese on. Wouldn't do it because it's not on the menu (the chips were). Wouldn't even ask in the kitchen. How much effort would it have taken? Their loss I'm afraid. Won't be booking any more meals, evening or otherwise.

First time at this pub. We popped in for lunch on the off chance. I had fish and chips. My wife had, ox cheek and Stilton pie with mash. Both were to die for! Friendly staff and excellent service. Will definitely be coming back.

A very delicious Sunday lunch in a busy gastro pub served by the loveliest of staff who were welcoming and helpful throughout. Food was absolutely gorgeous! Plenty to eat, very interesting.menu with lots of surprises once our food was efficiently served. We'll be back!

Fantastic food! I had one of the best burgers I have ever had here and the mousse for pudding was the perfect end to the night. Beautiful presentation and great, fresh flavours. Very well priced for the quality of the food. The atmosphere was warm and staff were very friendly. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely food, great service and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend the Paris fries. Portion sizes were amazing.

Food was absolutely superb, service was great and the beer is always good! All the staff are friendly and well organised. I went as part of a large group and every meal came out correct and in a timely manner, and as a group we felt we were well looked after by all the staff. Excellent service and would highly recommend! 😊

Lovely pub! The food was amazing, we had the burger which was just delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient. The only bad point would be the selection of beers could be better but that's just my own personal drink pallette.

Possibly the best Sunday roast we've ever had. Amazing food, nice drink selection, friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend!
