Menu is very limited and not recommended for vegans and vegetarians. Most of the options are fish and chips, but they do meat pies, curries, steaks and burgers. But there's not many to pick from and you may struggle to find something that you like.The staff were friendly polite and helpful.Food was nice and tasty except would of been nice if the beef burger option hinted spicy, as alot of people who eat beef burgers eat beef for the lack of spice, and like the bland taste.

Perfect chips and a nice burger, couldn’t ask for more for a decent price.

Really great food, freshly cooked and well packaged to take away. The gravy that came with sausage and chips was absolutely divine and will make this a regular place to go now whilst I am on break at work.

Fantastic value for money, found this place after a day in the Peak District. Staff were fantastic and really enjoyed the meal!

The restaurant is and always has been great. I've been coming with my family for years. The food is fantastic, customer service is brilliant. Also the chip shop attached is amazing, never had a bad bag of chips.

Our family visited the restaurant yesterday whilst staying in the area. I chose the restaurant as it had something on the menus for everyone, including my two children. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. We started with Calamari and chicken goujons which were tasty, followed by a burger, sausage and chips, rump steak and chicken in white wine sauce. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Great produce and flavour and would definitely visit again if we ever pass in future.

Very pleasant. The views from the conservatory are wonderful. Was disappointed they had no non alcoholic beer and no Chardonay The food was excellent my hubby says it's the best beef and ale pie he's ever had. The pastry is to die for! All in all a positive experience, the staff are lovely.

This is a lovely Pub/restaurant.The decor is nice, the staff are very friendly and helpful.The food is very good for the price.I had the large cod with chips and peas and my partner had the waffle Chicken.Both of us tried each others and neither of us had any complaints.The chicken was tender and moist, the fish was nicely cooked in a light crispy batter.My partner had a desert, (Caramac apple crumble) which she said was very good.Drinks are reasonably priced.Well worth a visit if you are in the area.We will be back to try the Sunday lunch, and I'm sure we will have a few more meals at lunch and in the evenings.

Second time I've been here....last time was over 4 years ago ....still a good place for food! Nice menu ... especially if you're a fan of fish. Good service, decent prices and a nice garden for summer days out back.

Eaten here twice now amazing food amazing staff would highly recommend and what a view!
