Very very nice food with beautiful views from the terrace

Visited after a day at Alton towers. Nice traditional pub. Food was good and service was ok. There were 12 of us and cost just over £20 each including alcoholic drinks. Would visit again.

Good food, really rude staff. A mistake in the kitchen led to being served the wrong meal, after the right food was served, the staff turned up the music and started making personal comments. Will not be returning, which is a shame given the overall quality of the food.

An oasis of good food in a sea of pubs that didn't or couldn't serve it on a Sunday evening! Will definitely come back especially if we're walking in the area. Probably would be wise to book but we were lucky and got a table anyway. Friendly and well situated with a fair size car park.

Great little pub, went here during our holiday first for Sunday Lunch which was perfect and served with fresh vegetables on the side, also managed a dessert from the good selection. We came on Thursday for pie night and although they were full staff remembered is from Sunday and found a space for us without a long wait. There is a selection of around 100 pies based on a common set of ingredients which can be combined with a puff or shortcrust pastry lid, served with fat cxhips and fresh veg. Shame its not my local for the rest of the year.

Fantastic food, pretty good value and smiling service .. but unfortunately it was clear that the 3 staff on were somewhat overwhelmed on service, and getting a drinks order right - for 12 - was proving a struggle. TBF they were also fighting an uncooperative coca cola line. Could have really done with an extra pair of hands.

Great pub for Sunday lunch. Booked at short notice and staff very friendly. Great choice of meats. Good size portions. Good beer. Well worth a visit.

Superb location, amazing food at decent prices and lovely staff. We managed to book a table for 6 people last minute, the lady on the phone was absolutely lovely and really helpful and kind. The food was absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to come back and see how the garden looks in the summer time as well ❤️

I came here with my son for an early Xmas lunch and the food was lovely, nice thick slices of Turkey and lovely selection of veggies to accompany it. Definately worth a visit.

A small walk with the dogs for lunch at The Tiger. The food was lovely and we sat outside on the terrace overlooking the valley with the sun shining. The service was great and thoroughly enjoyed it
