Viceroy Duffield in Amber Valley

Fabulous family meal at the Viceroy this evening. Delicious food with very courteous and attentive staff.Many thanks for being so good with the bill, considering we asked for it after 6:30.Kind regards Simon & Family

Telephoned a collection order, went to get it, they'd lost the order. Waited around (wish we hadn't) and eventually we got it. Every other Rogan I've ever had, had lots of tomatoes and capsicums, not this one. It was tasteless as well.To top it all off, two of us now have upset stomachs.We weren't the only people left disappointed, the restaurant was incredibly busy.To the owner: I would rather you'd told us you were too busy to serve us, rather than serving us rubbish and me writing this.

We booked the restaurant for a table of seven, upon arrival we informed them it would inky be five of us and it was accommodated gracefully.The food was fantastic quality and tasted beautiful! We asked a few questions regarding the menu and all questions answered kindly with some great recommendations from the manager who did everything possible that accommodate any requests.The restaurant were kind enough to also bring out a surprise cake for a birthday as well which was accompanied by a free drink for the table!Great evening, would recommend!

The food was absolutely delicious, they fitted us in last minute on a Saturday night and the service was incredible, very friendly staff.. will be back and well recommend 👌🏾

Although we live near Nottingham, some our family live in Duffield and it's through them we were introduced to Vicetoy . As with our previous visits we were more than pleased with the food and excellent service given to us by Tanvir and his team. We all had another great night and would like to thank everyone at Vicetoy for making the evening an extra special time.

Never leave reviews ever but this experience was so poor its worth a mention. Had to force even a menu and a drink at the start of the meal and the service followed in this vein. After mentioning the lateness of the food to 3 different waiters when it came it was rushed and the tandooori mixed grill contained plain grilled chicken. Bill was 100 quid for 3 people. Feels a bit like we’ve been mugged!!

I had an amazing night in my birthday at the viceroy. Tanvir was very nice and at the end of the dinner they sang me happy birthday. All staff was amazing to me and my fiance. Highly recommend

The food was spectacular! The staff were so welcoming. One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. Will always make the effort to go there when we visit the family in Derby. Thank you team Viceroy.

It's not your typical indian restaurant. Food, service and atmosphere was amazing. Top quality food. You can tell that they only use quality ingredients. It was worth it to travel 45 miles to eat here.

Great night, lovely food and excellent staff as more than happy to recommend food to suit if you have any allergies. we will be back 😋
