Fox & Crown in Ashfield

Was awsome like always. Super happy friendly staff 😊 Beer's clean, cold and ooooosh refreshing. Food, was great, gotta try the battered prawns, they are spectacular, chicken wings, garlic mushrooms. Fabulous x love the place x

Joined four friends for a lovely lunch. All of us ordered off of the golden years menu and had the garlic mushroom starters, they were beautiful and crispy! The mains were delicious and we treated ourselves to a desert. The waitress was polite and always asked if everything was alright and if she could get us anymore drinks! Happy to return for another lovely meal

Me and my husband visited here last night. I had the 9oz Ribeye Steak and it was cooked to perfection, huge compliments to the chef. We didn’t have to wait long for our meals either. We did pass our comments to the waitress but wanted to make sure they were passed on to whom in may concern. We will definitely be returning.

One of my favourite pubs to visit for a quick bite to eat. Sometimes I bring my dog too and she loves it! The staff are always so welcoming and friendly :) Molly and Hattie are always so happy to see me (although it’s mostly the dog I’m sure haha) and can’t do enough to help us. Love this place!

First time here at Fox & Crown Pub Restaurant and definitely not the Last! Ordered Medium Rare and arrived perfect! Burnt end beef was an extra treat yummy! Chips cooked perfectly crunchy and tasty 😋Staff are very friendly and very welcoming.

The worst meal we've ever had at any pub/restaurant. Had to wait 45 minutes for food as it appeared that most staff were on a break and when it arrived was basically inedible.i hate to think how long we'd have waited if the pub was busy. It was 4.10 when we got in there.Veggie spicy skewers, cold with a wrap that was stale and no pineapple as described on the menu. The other meal we ordered was a chick less burger. Onion rings were cold and like cardboard and the bap was stale. No one came to ask how our meals were and we left most of the meal. A table behind us had their meal within 20 minutes and that was a steak. Very expensive, waste of money and will not return.

First visit back to the area in several years, we used to love eating here , however much has changedwith an app for ordering food and drinks now but if it says option not available you need to ask staff as it might be just one ingredient not available . Unfortunately staff need some training on how to smile and be friendly. Food from previous guests still on the floor and not swept up. toilets were smelly, floors wet and not cleaned, no rota visible for regular checks. Sadly i don,t think we will be back .
