Golden Palace in Ashfield

Fantastic food! Arrived quickly, on a Saturday, hot, fresh, great flavours.. Cant praise this place enough, the food is always very good.

Lovely food and prompt ordering

Ordered beef in a black bean sauce with mushrooms and said I didn't want any chilli or peppers in it and low and behold it came with peepers .... The beef is also fatty and chewy not nice at all.. Not impressed... Chips are dry like they've been reheated! They said £23.00 on the phone and when they came to the door the delivery driver said £24.60!? Never ordering from there again.

Absolutely terrible!Ordered a meal and when it arrived there was flavouring on the plain chips I ordered, mushrooms in my chow mein when I specifically asked for none. Rang them up to be told I can't tell the difference between mushrooms and vegetables when I clearly can and the chow mein resembled noodles in jelly. They told me I'd receive a free order the next time I ordered only to be told when I rang up for the free order that they never said that and I could have a free portion of chips when my complete order was wrong. Terrible service, terrible management will never be ordering from this place ever again

Well its not good we ordered food from this take away and to say we were very disappointed is an understatement. We placed the order at 8.15 and where told it would be with us at 9.15. I wish, it was late at 9.25 we had to chase it up to find out where it was it eventually turned up at 9.30 not too late I accept, but it was not the nicest food, the curry was cluppy and disappointing the other food was average at best, of the three of us that ate none would say we enjoyed it. The final point being its expensive at the Golden Palace and we have never had the same price twice even though we always have the same thing where ever we order from, this was a final try for us at the Golden Palace. Expensive Late Poor Quality we will be trying some where else next time. Recommend you do the same. Three unhappy customers

Lucky to get two stars and thats only because delivery was lightning quick...Asked for double beef in beef curry, onions and peas ONLY obviously with sauce but hey loads of mushrooms which I cant stomach and no extra beef even tho I offered lots more money for double up on the things that maketh the meal..Oh well, disappointing....I will try another place

The sit down buffet was nice and the owner was welcoming the delivery was good and the free beers in cans good so shame no sit down now
