Great local pub, dog friendly, lovely staff, delicious food and good artists, entertainment. A quiz night or karaoke would be welcomed tho perhaps??

Excellent food and great value, week after week. Always a very warm welcome, too.

The owners made our special day perfect. We had lunch in the afternoon and the food was spot on. We was a large party and the food all came out together and was piping hot. Then in the evening we had our wedding reception and the room was done up lovely, the food was a cold buffet and the was something for everyone even down to plenty cakes for the children ☺️. When we had the room we paid for the in-house disco and I couldn't fault the music was a selection of 80's,90's and now. Thank you for an amazing night x

We always get a friendly and helpful welcome My dog 🐕 Loki gets served first with a bowl of water.There is now a much wider choice on the menu l expect you would call it regular 'pub grub' The portions are hearty and really good value for money.I have never been but they have regular entertainment, inside carboots and there is a large room available to hire for various functions.There is lots of seating outside including some in the shade. Disabled parking / access and room inside for wheelchair users to move comfortably around.Next to a bus stop and close to town centre

Lovely and welcoming . Our 4th or 5th time eating here and although the service can be slow at times the meals are fantastic . Proper pub grub at an amazing price. Golden brown hand cut crispy chunky chips are to die for 😋 good portions too. Everything is just delicious and a good selection. Golden oldies menu and children's menu are excellent value for money. Well done!

The weather was lovely so we sat outside there isn't a beer garden as such and there are busy roads at the side there is a white fence but not that high really it would benefit from being made higher apart from that it's not a bad place...

Excellent meal. Freshly cooked. Portions just right. Food lovely and hot. Friendly staff. Will definitely go again.

Don't advertise home cooked food if your going to serve frozen!You certainly get what you pay for. Cheap food, expensive drinks ( coke out of a can £1.50!) Save your money and go somewhere decent!!!!!

Mid week meals great Sunday lunch ok olso a good price
