My family, 6 of us ate here yesterday (3rd July) for our Sunday lunch. Cannot praise the staff and the quality of food enough. We were made so welcome and the staff were so helpful and friendly. We will certainly visit here again. Many thanks for making our visit special.

Absolutely fantastic once again. We like this place so much that we booked an 'off peak' dinner for 20 guests. Perfect in every way, especially our personal service from Natalie.

*Booking a must*Fantastic food very well presented with realistic waiting times and friendly smartly dressed staff always on hand. They can accommodate large groups in or outside.Easy wheel chair access although can be a little tight navigating around tables.Competitively priced in contrast to how expensive the restaurant and bar looks on first impression. When arriving beware that the car park can be full although on street parking is fine around the premises.Overall a really great place to eat or just to pop in for a drink.

Party of 11 to celebrate a special birthday. Excellent food. Excellent service. Set in an excellent room. Lovely to have every detail checked and accommodated for. Nice to have a small interlude in between courses. Pleasant and courteous staff. Excellent value too.

25 min wait for a baguette and a handful of chips. Perhaps acceptable on a Friday/Saturday night, not at 1.30pm.The baguette comes with two toppings. Only that it doesn't. One half of the baguette has one topping, the other half has the other topping. Yes, really. One star for the actual food, it was decent. Or maybe I was just very hungry from the wait.

A spontaneous visit after visiting Pleasley Country Park with our toddler. It was our first visit as we found them on google with high reviews.Having arrived, we were impressed by the well presented building and the interior decor which was high class, modern and clean - very much so that we felt somewhat underdressed. We were then shown to our table, whereby we weren't offered a high chair despite having a young toddler and therefore had to ask for one.I ordered the Sunday roast and opted to go large which included two extra meats. My partner ordered the wholetail scampi and our toddler had the twisted pizza from the children's menu. My partner requested a pint of fresh orange juice, a pint of draught coke. Before our meals arrived, we were both considering bringing family on a separate occasion. However, upon receiving our meals we were disheartened. The quality of the meals didn't match that of the price and we expected a much higher standard given the atmosphere of the place and menu.My mashed potato tasted similar to instant mash and the meat wasn't what was to be expected and also seemed like a small portion for the price. Yorkshire puddings were homemade and tasted nice.My partners wholetail scampi wasn't anything to really brag about, considering the price of £11+ and my toddlers twisted pizza lacked flavour and had a cheap taste to it. When my partner ordered her drink, she was asked whether she wanted it as a pint, to which she responded with yes, but with this in mind when she got her drink it was not and having checked the receipt it was in fact a Britvic Orange meaning it probably came from a bottle and therefore couldn't have been a pint regardless. The filtered water, which was complimentary so we can't really complain about but I will say it however, was warm and tasted like the tap water from our kitchen.I don't think we will be returning, which is a shame because we were looking forward to bringing family up until our meals arrived.

The Carnarvon helped us celebrate our small Christmas eve wedding. We was in the glass House area which was nice and private. The food was perfect and all our guests was happy and enjoyed what they had ordered. We opted for the Christmas fayre menu to keep it simple which had a decent choice on it for people who didn't want an actual Christmas dinner. The only mix up I had noticed is some people wanted custard and not cream on their puddings but it was sorted straight away with no fuss. Our guest who haven't been to the Carnarvon before was commenting how nice the place is and want to visit again.I would highly recommend , we got a fantastic professional services from start to finish. The only complaint I would have is that the Christmas fayre should have came with Santa hats and crackers which was not put out.Would have been fun for the photos.

Wonderful food, great company, great service and extremely relaxing. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly all said hello as we entered and all said bye as we left. The food is fantastic so full credit to the team of chefs. The only minor issue is the parking but it's also a sign of how popular the place is at peak times. Will most definitely be returning
