Wise Eater in Ashfield

Worth the wait best in village

Fantastic food, Eating In side is lovely, , lovely staff

Chips are OK and the cod was nice and thick, although the batter was a little stodgy. The peas were awful, processed with strange vivid green colour. 6/10

Cold , undescribeable Chicken ,Have just had a chinese from here was impressed with how quick it was brought through from the kitchen when we got home and served it my husbands rice was cold ( baring in mind we only live up the road) my chicken chow mein was that bad i couldnt eat it god knows how old the chicken was it was curled up on the ends , the sauce was the worst consistency ive ever had all in all it was awful so wont be having anything else from there £12 down the drain but at least my tummy wont have to digest such rubbish food

I’d rate this higher if the website actually had links to the menu that work. Last time I went, the Chinese was beautiful. Because of not having a car, I can’t order from my favourite Chinese. Shame

You can get Chinese food at lunchtime, aswell as the usual fare - Always good food and great service..👍

Good portions, always fresh. Offers fish and chip shop and a great chinese takeaway

Always great food from the Wise Eater. Their curry sauce is the best I've ever tasted! Portion sizes are good and on par with any other takeaway of a similar nature. I don't think I've paid for prawn crackers EVER! Excellent job, keep it up.

We've only been a couple of times and I've asked why we don't go more! It's been nice every time we've been and would definitely recommend it. Sadly, they don't deliver, but it's worth the drive.

Restaurant is nice. Friendly aptmosphere. Your only aloud a certain amount of dishes per serving however the staff are always right in how much they give you because you go home full. great value for money. We always ask jean to bring out whatever she wants so we always have something different.
