This doesn’t go towards all the staff but the staff that was working in the A&E department are disgraceful, I swear they think people go in there because they enjoy sitting in a waiting room for hours. No compassion or respect was shown and they don’t seem to be bothered unless your on your last breath and I’m not the only person to have said this. Most of the time they insinuate that you’re imagining the pain or that your telling lies until they do test and find out otherwise now I’m not telling them to diagnose every little thing wrong with people, I’m just asking that they show a bit of respect and treat you with dignity. I know there’s signs all over hospitals telling people to respect the hospital staff but giving some back would be nice. Hospital is where so many people feel vulnerable and exposed and to be greeted and treated like they couldn’t care less or that your just overreacting is wrong on so many levels. Some individuals problems can be life changing to them and the people around you are those that help either make It a traumatic experience or a bearable one.

It's a Hospital.... I can't work out why you have to pay for Parking.... We don't go there volunteering... Its not a visit for a luxury or entertainment... I feel that the Parking Charge is pouring Salt into the Wounds... Insult to Injury... Disgusting

Much better hospital than Doncaster Royal infirmary, not so big.

Today visited x ray department All staff extremely friendly and accommodating Must say a special thank you to a wonderful lady called Sue who helped me and really was a pleasure to meet. Thanks everyone

I took my son-in-law to A&E as he had chopped through his hand with an axe it wasn't busy and he was seen quite quickly, they couldn't just stitch it so he has to have an operation on it but the staff were very good and so was the plastics doctor and he should be in tomorrow for the operation. Very pleased with the service there.

This hospital is shocking, my mum was sent in with breathing problems and stomach pain and they sent her home the next day having a chest infection and no antibiotics. We have had to phone emergency services again because she's ilusinating and is still not well.

Id just like to say Thank you for the care given to my Mum whilst she's been in hospital for breathing issues. Level of care has been exceptional.

I was visiting family and took ill with Pneumonia, I was taken to Bassetlaw Hospital and stayed for 7 days. I was on ATC ward for a day and then moved to C1 ward 7. All nurses Doctors and everyone else even the cleaners that I came into contact with where fantastic they couldn't do enough to make your stay more comfortable and I was amazed how cheerful they all were, it must be a great place to work. I don't know why some complain about the food I've been in a few different hospitals and yours beats all of them, you give plenty of choice so if you can't find anything you like you must be fussy, anyway my compliments to the kitchen. By all and keep up the good work 👏 🙌 👍Kate Cook Mrs

I would like to express my thanks to both Sue and Jade the radiographers in the Bassetlaw MRI suite. I am extremely nervous and anxious in a hospital environment, but their professionalism and patient care put me at ease, where I was able to be relaxed about the scan procedure. They were excellent, and I would also like to add that the administration was perfect too, with another special mention of thanks to the lady on the reception desk at the MRI suite. The team really were amazing! Additionally, the cleanliness of the hospital was exceptional in the areas that I accessed during my visit - keep-up the great work MRI team, it really is greatly appreciated.

I attended today for my pre-op assessment and I cannot praise and thank Jane and Julie enough. They made me feel at ease, answered all my questions, treated me with respect and did not judge and were just absolutely fantastic with me. Thank you so much Jane and Julie xxx
