Lovely reception when we walked through the door, great menu, just what we were looking for, food was great, service excellent, the only down was just one hand pull beer offered, we will be back, really enjoyed.

Lovely warm welcome. Never been before but would certainly come again. Food not expensive but Lovely quality. Nice change coming to a place that's clean, friendly and value for money.. would recommend.

We called in just to check to see if they did meals . Greeted by a very friendly welcome and helpful member of the team .Excellent place . Nicely decorated and immaculately clean both bar areas and toilets .The young lady serving was really nice and helpful . We ended up ordering meals ( 4 of us ) which were delivered very timely. We all had Hot lovely food . Nothing left by anyone .Highly recommended.Thanks to all . We will definitely be back 👍Cheers Steve B

We visited the pub following recommendations and were pleasantly surprised. Whilst the food - higher end pub offering and excellent value for money- was much as we'd hoped, the seating & decor made it very comfortable and the service was excellent. Well worth a try.

If you are going to have a problem with your car, this is the place to have it. The proprietor and a customer helped me. Their kindness helped myself and my young passenger back on the road, they also picked up a fault on the tyre, which I was told to go very slow which I did & had a company come out to repair. Kindest, friendliest and caring people.Thank you, I am passing your kindness forward, as we discussed. .❤️ Thank you.

Easy to find next to the crossroads in the village. Very warm welcome from the bar staff. Comfortable spacious interior. Good menu of sandwiches light bites and mains. The steak and ale pie was well cooked with excellent chips. Very reasonably priced.

Excellent friendly service. Food was lovely too. I had the roast lamb dinner. The nut roast and the steak pie is also worth a try. Good selection for the kids too.

Great pub, arrived on spur of the moment and found a friendly pub with superb food and service. Would recommend the Nottinghamshire pie but all the food I saw looked amazing. Staff very helpful and walked out knowing I will be back. Well done.

Thursday night, 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £30. Cooked perfectly and home made chips, you really can't ask for more. We've already been back 2 days later for an equally good meal.Highly recommended and excellent service.
