Bombay spice in Bassetlaw

I love their food it's like a food experiment. They're masters of how they're using the spices and herbs. The fish and the chicken was perfectly cooked I really enjoyed everything. The food was hot and well presented. My favourite Indian Takeaway.

The restaurant was cold. The waiter was a pain, was clearing empty plates on our table whilst people was still eating. Made it worse that he was actually leaning over people eating to do this!!Food was a maybe 3 star but service n environment really needs to be sorted!!!!Won’t return and won’t be recommending either!

Not very busy as we went on a Tuesday night, waiting staff are good, not a great range of wines, but all the rest, beers & spirits are all good, Cobra is on draught, the food was good & hot, they have free WiFi as well, 10% discount for collection of take away orders, they also deliver (just eat) all in all, a good restaurant.Update: the Cobra is bottled, no draught beer, the food is still great, went 13/02/22.

Do not order from here. Food was stone cold. Mixed tandoori was all chicken, not mixed at all. Minimal taste.Called the restaurant for the staff to just talk among themselves, offered no solution, then called us liars, despite the offer to come and look at the food. The man talking was extremely rude. He the. Refused to give a replacement.Total waste of 25 pound. Worst service I’ve ever had from a take away would give it a 0 if it was possible.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Average food, cold order. Save your time and go to a better curry house

Waited 90 min, not so bad it is Saturday, delivery arrived, food cold looked like something you could buy out of a can (can probably better) chicken raw at bone, then to make things worst onion baji smelled like someone had thrown it up, balled and fried it ? The smell was akin to rotten eggs ? How is this even possible with onions awaiting driver to pick up ( as that's going to happen ) of course as they suggested, could take it back .? Making no sense of paying and tipping for delivery. Very poor presentation all round. Definitely no go for a take-away.

We have been using Bombay Spice for both restaurant dining and takeaway for many years. The quality of the food is consistently excellent as is the level of service.We have an autistic 13 year old boy and both he, and is little quirks, are always made so welcome at Bombay.Altogether, an excellent family restaurant built on both quality and service. Well done guys! 👌

Best Indian food for miles, enjoyed fabulous takeaways during lockdown and our first meal out had to be here. It didn't disappoint the food tastes even better in the restaurant and the staff are lovely and very friendly. Highly recommended
