Had an amazing Sunday roast here. Roast turkey for 3 and 1 pork loin. Everything was cooked just right. Thoroughly enjoyed it by the 4 of us! Nice and warm place with roaring fire, lovely ale and wonderful polite staff. Excellent!

Came tonight for the steak night. Had steak cooked to perfection and the service was excellent too. Lovely pub, lovely atmosphere and great value for money. Will definitely be returning. Thank you. X

Visited for Sunday Lunch whilst on a boozy, food fueled weekend with friends locally, traditional country type pub, with some good real ale and wine, quite a few gins on offer I recall too. Sunday Lunch was spot on, cooked like you would at home, plenty of it too, washed down with a fair few local ales. Service was great! Place nice and clean, recently done up by the looks of the photos on here to what it looks like now. Will definitely return!

This is the first time that we have had Sunday lunch here. It was absolutely beautiful we will definitely be coming back as we move to church laneham tomorrow this is going to be our local from now on. We will be having lunch on Sunday with our son and his girlfriend . 😉🙂🙂🙂

Cracking food, all very well done, amazing portions and very quick service! Lovely atmosphere too! Did feel rushed to finish my meal as I took a break to have a drink half way and someone was there to take my plate away - all in all, a great little place
