Gateford Grill in Bassetlaw

Ordered from here before and never had a problem with the food. I ordered today and asked for really well done bacon as when previously ordered well done bacon there was no difference and not well done. Today it came burnt to a crisp, if you pick up the bacon it just crumbles in your hand and just tastes cremated. I rang up the store to sort out this matter to just be spoken down to by a rude woman. We asked for a refund for the order (which consisted of two bacon sandwiches with extra bacon so nothing really but bacon) to be told there is nothing that can be done and that she had to go because other calls were coming through. So instead we asked for just a refund on the extra bacon we had paid for, just for her to say the same thing and put the phone down on me. Nothing but rude the whole way through the conversation, didn’t even seem as though she was bothered about the complaint at all. Yes we had asked for ‘really well done’ bacon but not cremated, there’s a difference between really well done and burnt to a crisp which this woman clearly does not understand.

Customer service is absolutely appalling, had the phone put down on me mid sentence. Food is inedible so I’d go else where, by else where I mean out the bin would be better.

Ordered months ago was very disappointed didnt even get to eat it was cold they never came go to sort it ignores all messages even though left numerous messages take ya money and run dont want to do much when they get complaints my friend had the same problem .

Ordered the food at 10 45 been told it will arrive at 11 55 I called in at 12 25 as it was 30min late just to be told that it will be another 45min called in again at 1 20 as it was nearly an hour only got told that the food is on its way didn't bother offering me any discounts free meal or my money back the food arrived at 1 40 good job it was my day off as I usually have to leave for work by then however the food was warm and nice

Ordered food from here today. On top of being over an hour late, the cake was covered in mould. Tried ringing the restaurant, was hung up on. Contacted JustEats customer services, and was awarded two pounds in compensation.As if the trainwreck of a meal could not get any worse, the toasted cheese sandwich I ordered was not toasted and did not contain cheese. One would gather that based on the name 'toasted cheese' these two steps would be the simplest to follow. Apparently not.The only other downside is that I cannot rate this establishment less than one star.To the owner who said that this review was a 'malicious lie':Feel free to tell that to the FSA (Food Safety Administration) as I have reported you to them, with photographic evidence.

Always good food here and their delivery service is second to none if I have a complaint it's only a tiny one I have always like my eggs with runny and unfortunately they tend to overcook them slightly but no big deal
