Half Moon in Bassetlaw

3 pieces of squid for £5.65, no flavour. Sad reflection on a lovely premises. Planned on having 3 courses, VERY happy I did not go ahead and order the rest of the meal.

Ordered grill plate, none of my meat was close to grill before serving, all have been oily and not cooked long enough. I used to work in kitchen like this and kitchen chef hasn't got a clue what he's doing.

First time in Half Moon. Pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Food was really good and reasonably priced. Great that it's dog friendly too.

Love this place. Nice food, staff and doggy friendly. Can't wait for summer as there is a nice outdoor area.

My husband and I called for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised from being made welcome when we entered by a lovely lady called Stacy who not only spoke to us but really helped with our order. She is an asset to your venue. I have managed 3pubs myself and a young lady who knows her job and enjoys doing it is hard to find. We will definitely call again as the food was lovely and fresh.

We regularly visit this pub/restaurant and really like the vast menu choices. There's always a specials board too.The food is always very good and if not up to par you can easily get this rectified. Staff friendly and attentive

Went out with friends and our Children.All had a nice meal and the manageress was lovely.Meals came out a little disjointed,and a couple on our table had to wait a little while.But the food was tasty and all enjoyed it! 👍

Large mix grill was good, latte was good. Little over priced. Braising beef red wine boginour was not good, felt like it was old stock they quickly warm up, and mash potato was instant mash and very minimal veg, scrapings what was left I presume. I did complain as I was given 3 small Brussels sprouts, few sliced of carrots and reminance of coliflower. Then got a bowl of 1 coliflower head and green beans as was told thus was the veg when ordering. Very over priced for quality. 2 pt of soft draft drinks coke and lemonade total price £32.Staff very friendly and welcoming

used to come here a lot but was shocked at the disinterested staff, terrible food and no drinks menu so you haven't a clue what you're being charged for a drink. The Fajitas were burnt to a crisp and the pasta was dry and hard, despite bringing this to the waitresses attention there was no apology or offer to change the food, all we got is a 'Oh' and then she walked away. Needless to say we won't be coming back. Seems to be a running trend that people aren't appreciative of your business and after a year of lockdown you'd think they would welcome you back with open arms but nope, very indifferent.
