Hungry Horse - The Ashley in Bassetlaw

Our go to place for meals out and special occasions. Myself and my family have been visiting the Ashley for years and throughout the years the staff, food and the presentation of the building and food has always been the best. The menu has a great selection and options and care is taken by the staff to make sure you are satisfied with the service. And they are easily accessible and efficient at answering questions or sorting out issues (as with any large operation they can happen occasionally). The Ashley is a place I will carry on visiting and at the top of my list. Thank you to the team for a great experience. Also a shout out to joe who served us on our last trip. I fully recommend.

Great place to come for something to eat… food is good and the staff are amazing

We went for my sons birthday (his choice), booked table and arrived on time. Table was ready and waiting, but due to football and a party we were looking at up to an hour wait. The staff were friendly and we were in no rush so waited, glad we did, the food was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely go again but might check the football fixtures first.

We’re regulars at the Ashley, their staff are always friendly, food is good and the whacky warehouse is fantastic! It’s a very family friendly place and a good place for a meal and even a night out

Had the mac and cheese with garlic bread, was very tasty only thing is it comes with mozzarella on top which is very stringy. The staff are always friendly. I shall return

Place has sorted itself out, food wise. The quality has certainly improved. God value for money, IMO. Barstaff pleasant enough, but as usual, there isn't enough of them. Punters then become irate. They may even vote with their feet !!

Booked a family table for eight,they stated it could take up to an hour for our order,then they said two of the orders where then not available, seems yet again a shortage of staff,staff on duty very busy, anyway the food, when arrived was satisfactory

Nice large, bright and clean pub, plenty of parking, nice friendly staff, We went on a Tuesday night and it was busy, we were warned when we ordered our food there would be a 30 minutes when, the wife had a burger meal which she said was nice, I had a mixed grill but cannot say the same the chicken breast seamed to have been boiled and put on a grill to give it some colour unfortunately it was only done one side, the steak was tough

Went for first time with family for a birthday celebration. Lovely inside lots for kids to do, I really enjoyed my food (had the gammon) great prices and offers. the staff were great 👍 very helpful. I would deffinatly visit again and recommend 😀
