Kennys Fish 'N' Chips in Bassetlaw

With the indoor seating area closed due to the covid pandemic situation, a few table &chairs have been provided outside the chippy,should the British weather be kind enough to be able use them as they are open to the elements,but full marks are given for providing this service in a limited space area.i had mini fish chips & peas which was really delicious.

Clean place, staff very welcoming,friendly and attentive. Fish was skinned, tasty and batter crispy and tasty too. Chips were lovely. Would recommend based on our first visit/experience.

We always stop here when in Retford. Lovely chips again today. Can't fault the staff here and the food is delicious.

Nobody go to this place I went its really expensive and the portion size was disgusting it cost me a fortune in there the chips was horrible had to leave them the potatoes hadn't even been peeled properly still potato skin left on and the chips tasted rotten I'm never going to eat in this place again I think the workers is very ignorant and they want a lesson how to cook food they couldn't make a cup of tea or coffee to save there lifes I'm never eating anything from them again

Fantastic fish and chip shop, they always welcome you in as we eat in the restaurant but they also do take away, every town should have one! 😁

these used to be lovely, but recently the quality of chips have just seemed to have gone downhill fast. I don't go there anymore and it's a real shame - the chip cone is now a glorified pile of mash potato with no taste.

Superbly clean, friendly smiling staff, very nice chips and the best fish I've ever had. Lovely crispy golden batter, &pure white fish.
