Notcutts Garden Centre Restaurant in Bassetlaw

We use to go here all the time but when they stopped the free drinks and meals offer on the loyalty card we fell out with the place especially as i had just renewed my card and then lockdown started and when they were finally open you couldn't get a free drink unless you bought a meal .Then we went on lockdown again so by the time things opened up my card was due to renew again and i hadn't used it. They didn't honour any of the missed drinks unlike Dobbies so that was £12 wasted. I didn't renew.Called in today had a nice scone and drink in the cafe. Sat outside it wasn't busy at all. Got a sale on at moment think mostly on larger garden items, it wasn't on plants 😀

Lovely Garden Centre with a good in-house restaurant. Consider getting a Nocutts card and make savings.On the same site is the Harley Gallery, excellent Farm Shop and another cafe /restaurant. A visit for all the family

Well worth a visit as we have come a few time’s now in the last month. The garden centre itself is well presented with good parking to the right of the building. Nice selection of plants and accessories in the main shop and the outdoor courtyard has plenty of outdoor options to consider. I have found them to be a little bit more price wise but the overall products they sell look better quality. Especially with the roses. Never had an issue with the staff everyone always smiling and happy to help. And when your done there you have the modest museum (free!), coffee shop and farm shop to look forward too after.

Called in today after nit visiting for quite a while.I had a cheese scone and cappuccino. The scone was one of the best I’ve had for a long time and I could actually taste the coffee in the cappuccino.

Not just a garden centre but an all round place for everyone to enjoy.clothes, gifts, outdoor furniture you name it plus a lovely cafe, gallery and farmers shop. Well worth a visit.

First time visiting today and pleasantly surprised. Viewing on the map I felt it might be slightly smaller than the West Bridgford Notcutts but actually, it was better! Will definitely be back!

Spot of lunch- nice. Good selection of plants. They were just arranging garden furniture displays, so may have to pay another visit!

Bought just over £300 worth of espalier fruit trees, the 3 stars are for the trees, I deducted 2 stars for the customer service...Having spent this amount at this garden centre... I initially asked one of the garden centre staff some questions regarding these trees, his initial response was "as long as I don't have to go out there (ie hinting out in the rainy weather), I'll answer your questions"...So I ended up pushing 4 of these espalier trees on a wobberly trolly back to the van, trying to navigate through the aisles (on my own and my leg is made out of rod and bolts!)... Some of your staff need training on customer service skills.How about treating your customers with a little more respect, more so when they spend good money at your store.

Very nice garden center and yummy food. Definitively recommend. Ps there are gluten free items in the cafe!
