Great choice of food with a 'Bible' menu and specials - very accomodating for large groups..

A much fancier than expected walk-in three course lunch. Lovely food, decent bitter and welcoming, attentive staff.

Really a small gastropub. Comfortable & stylishly furnished. Smallish but well stocked bar with a choice of hand pulled real ales. Everywhere, including the toilets, beautifully clean. The restaurant area is also smallish and cosy but like the whole place, comfortable. However the big reason for visiting, is the food. The menu is thoughtfully compiled with a choice to suit everyone. The choices of our party were delicious and beautifully presented. Portions were large. Nobody went home hungry. In fact nobody will eat much the next day! The only criticisms are that the chairs are, for us, too low for the tables & the car park is awkward and too small for this popular pub situated on a sharp bend. Ok if not raining! We had a lovely evening. Service throughout was very attentive. It couldn't be faulted. Excellent.

Nice & cosy place very welcoming on arrival, however food was not as good I've enclosed a photo of homemade lasagne & garlic bread. As you can see it's not very nicely done. Garlic bread was just bread, meat fat surrounding the meal and to top it off was burnt.I did complain to waitresses but nothing was done to compensate for the poor quality meal.Really disappointed.

Went in with my mum....just walked in ...lovely pub with the Xmas decorations...friendly staff...brilliant menu and a good pint of Smiths 🍺 😁 mum loved it ...Will take the wife next time. Booking is recommended as it seems a popular destination.

Had a wonderful family Sunday lunch, they don't take bookings for sundays, we just turned up , our temperatures were taken , then we went through to the beautifully decorated restaurant, all dressed ready for Christmas, there is a special board or a carvery the standard to detail is superb

Superb. Great host. Looked after us and all customers very well. Took all covid precautions very seriously. And the icing on the cake excellent food and drinks. Well worth a visit. Loved the shoes!!!!!

This place is lovely. Chris the owner as done a fantastic job of the decor of the out side eating area. The menu as a little bit of everything for everyone the food is delicious. This place is a must if your in the area. If you are wanting a evening meal I would advise you to pre book. I had the Sutton pie and you need a big appetite.

Five star meal tonight with our family. Great food all had various meals from the extensive menu available. Recommend the pork belly, fillet steak, sticky chicken, mussels, meatball lasagne and the pie! We were all stuffed and not a morsel left! The staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. It felt very safe and relaxed. We would definitely return. Thankyou Chris and staff for the evening. Beth enjoyed her birthday meal even if the balloon deflated lol x 😍
