Absolutely fantastic, Dawn served us and we had a wonderful time. Afternoon Tea portions were big and fresh, so much that we had to take away some. Will definitely return again and again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I ate here with my wife on a quiet Wednesday morning. The interior was charming, with a vintage feel and we were welcomed with smiles. I had a very tasty fry up and my wife had a freshly made on-site cheese scone which she said was delicious. We very much enjoyed our visit.

First time in Retford today and I stumbled upon this busy little tearoom.Fantastic experience from start to finish! I visited with my 8 week old in a pram and they couldn't do enough to help me, from pulling out the chair to clearing space to allow me use of the toilets.The latte was lovely and the panini was delicious! Great menu choice executed perfectly! At least one new server learning the ropes but I was served quickly to say how busy it was! Thank you for a great, hassle-free service!

Called for a light lunch this week as haven't been in for a while. Staff were polite friendly and organised. The food was lovely and presented beautifully. The cakes and scones were fabulous. Would definitely recommend and will be reliving the lovely experience soon. Thank you and well done......

I was very lucky to have a surprise afternoon tea at home for my birthday, just before christmas. Really lovely - highly recommended. Plenty to eat (in fact there was enough for a mini repeat the next day), adapted to our preferences. The vintage crockery, cutlery and table cloth was a lovely touch and made it feel very special. Delivered and collected safely and on time.

Visited this cafe. It did not come up on my Google list of places to comment on. But determined to search it out so that I could do so, The place for us was a real gem and I don't recognise the comments offering only one star. Linen napkins delivered onto your lap with a flourish. Prompt service with well cooked and well presented food. Clean facilities with real individual towels. Try this place if you will. I don't think you will be disappointed!

Great Cyclist's Café, the owner looks after us all whether it be large groups or just a couple of us with very good deals for price, Recommended..!Food & Drinks quality are really great also.Lovely staff and great facilities and setting.Best Café on The Square.

Great night with bikers. Lovely food. Great service. Been quite a few times and always have a good night or through day. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.

As David said before..Need to get the basics right.Scones and cream? Came with margarine and ice cream..Cheese scone again, margarine and smallest portion of pickle.. hardly any cheese on/in the scone.Cakes are expensive for what you get..This is not value for money if you fancy a cream tea etc.Such a shame, as location is great, but service, quality and costs are what let's this place down..Could be really nice, but there are far better in Retford "doing it right" for less money.Disappointed...
